Vacuuming an average size living room and hallway carpet I have to stop several times to empty the canister and it’s a problem to get the pet fur and hairs that wrap around the outside of the filter area. I have to use a long screwdriver to pull it out

They were okay, but never had much life. I have four kids and three dogs. Our vacuum cleaner gets a workout everyday. The Dyson Animal series vacuum is expensive but worth every penny.

So far i love this vacuum there are a few things that are different from the hoover that i liked. But overall a great vacuum keeps up with the hair left behind from my husky malamute mix.

I only gave 4 stars because the fur has started to get trapped higher up in the canister so when I open it to dump, I have to reach my hand in the pull debris out. Its not a big problem, just not something i prefer to have to do.
