V powerful (so powerful that it can be difficult to navigate the swivel so watch out) & the brushes work great. I have black furniture/black rugs & a white cat. This def did the job. 10/10 would recommend.

This machine is OK in that it does pick up hair but it leaves large wet streaks behind it and the only way to do a good job is to finish with my Shark steam mop. I have not been over-impressed with its ability on my oriental area rugs, either.

Regret buying it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this vacuum about two months ago after my Shark started continuously plugging up, We have two shedding dogs, one a lab. This vacuum is heavy, with no push assist. It has no lights in the front, which I took for granted was on all modern vacuums and is helpful when vacuuming under the bed. The canister opens only on one end, and the design makes it impossible to reach in and pull out all the dog hair which gets stuck around the filter. Have to use a hanger... waste of time. Worst of all, it constantly shocks me with little sharp static shocks while I am vacuuming. I dislike it--hate it--and would exchange it if I could. My husband, who doesn't vacuum, says I am just being picky!
