Customers are saying

Customers admire the CleanView Swive Rewind Pet Select Upright Vacuum's powerful suction, ease of use, and lightweight design, frequently praising its performance on pet hair and the convenient cord rewind feature. While some users found the noise level to be high, many appreciated the vacuum's overall value and the helpfulness of its attachments. A few customers reported issues with the belt and brush roll, but these concerns were less frequent than positive feedback.

Brought this expecting it to help a lot with pet fur but it doesn’t do that much better than a standard vacuum

To start with ... this vacuum does work on a plush carpet. Shag, berber and low pile seem fine. Plush ... vacuum doesn’t move. It won’t roll and the spin brush stalls constantly. The “pet attachment” is entirely useless and doesn’t have enough power to keep spinning the second it touches something. I’m 6ft tall and vacuum constantly gets stuck and won’t roll when going forward - I have to bend down to take lift the front up a bit so it’ll move. Very disappointed in Bissell on this one

WHAT'S IN THE BOX: The unit comes assembled except for the handle. The handle requires a phillips head screwdriver for the two screws that attach it to the base. It also contains the flex hose, extension wand, brush tool, pet turboeraser tool, a Febreze filter and a crevice tool. ASSEMBLY: I had to look for a minute or two to find where the handle screws went. Looking down at the handle towards the floor, the two holes are on either side and drop in 3/4's of the way. Then it's just a few turns of the screwdriver. The turboeraser has a spot on the front of the handle and the brush goes in the back. You insert and turn the base for the extension wand and it snaps into place. The crevice tool is another story. The assembly manual doesn't mention it in the assembly, so I take a look at the box. There is a spot for another tool next to the extension wand, but the crevice tool is too long and doesn't fit. The picture on the box shows a different style tool and it too is cockeyed and looks to be tucked in between the flex hose and extension wand. Every time I tried to store it that way, it fell off the base. I ended up sticking it in the extension wand. CONS: For me, I like a headlight on my vacuum and this unit doesn't have one. The unit is a push model and doesn't self propel. Unlike my Shark that is a push model also, but it tends to move forward with much effort. PRO: Great suction. I live in the desert and my carpet tends to have fine sand in it. No matter how often I vacuum, I'll see some sand in the canister. I did just the living room (15 x 20) and I could see a fair amount of really fine sand. I had the unit on 1 as my carpet is a low/medium pile, but I wanted to see how much dirt it could lift. I was pleasantly surprised. The cord rewind for the power cord is a nice touch and makes ending the job convenient. I hope it's constructed well to last! Lastly for me the unit seemed less noisy than my current Shark vacuum stick. Maybe because I had the front door open, but it worked for me. I did insert the Febreze filter and it is fairly strong. If anything, it gives you a spare filter. Overall I'm very pleased with the Bissell Cleanview vacuum. I recommend it to anyone with pets or my neighbors who struggle with living in the desert!

Did not work very well. I have cats and it threw the cat sand everywhere instead of sucking it up.

    Awsome Vacuum!

This Vacuum really surprised me. It is hard to find a high quality vacuum for a decent price now a days but I believe this might be one. It was very easy to assemble right out of the box. It has spots to hold all of the attachments and accessories. The only thing I could not figure out is where one of the attachment goes. Possibly the best feature of this vacuum is the cord. One of the most annoying things of any vacuum is having to roll up the cord and untangle it before use. This vacuum has a button and the cord retracts into the inside of the vacuum and it easily pulls out for use. It also offers a bag less design with a Febreze filter. This vacuum is made out of almost all plastic but I do not think this is a complete downfall because it is light weight and easily maneuverable. It also offers a swivel head design so it can easily move around furniture and in and out of tight spaces. Possibly the biggest question is how well does it vacuum the carpet. The answer is that it does really well. Better than any of the previous vacuums I have had. It can pick up anything and moves across the carpet easily. I highly recommend this vacuum to anyone who has carpet and needs a good vacuum.

Horrible. There is no place for the long extender attachment, the directions do not tell you where to pull off the vacuum hose in order to use the attachments as there is two places to do it and they dont specify. After only using it maybe a handful of times, when putting on the extender and brush attachments, the air does NOT FLOW AT ALL to the entry way. Just another dime a dozen vacuum for mom that does not work AGAIN. Plus, the plastic handles feels like it's falling apart.

So first off, this is a good vacuum for the price. You can surely get more pricey vacuums from Bissell and other manufacturers, but not everyone can afford to fork over that kind of money. This particular Bissell is pretty easy to set up right out of the box. Offers some nice extra tools for additional help in cleaning, such as the crevice tool and the roller brush. If you're obsessive about ensuring you get the hairs cleaned up off the rug or the furniture I feel pretty good about this vacuum and all it has. So far in the first week I've owned it I have seen that the suction on this is strong and I would expect it to be pretty strong. Getting lots of dust and hair pulled out of the carpet surface and that has left me feeling confident. I'd rather have all that gunk in the vacuum rather than on the carpet for me to breathe in. The crevice tool has been helpful for me to get into those wedges on the couch, or small spaces behind furniture. I'm glad that Bissell realized that this is something that a vacuum needs to have for real world use in a consumers home. The Pet TurboEraser has proved to be a success for me as well. Being able to clean up hair from the couch with this tool has been useful as it cleans up a lot in just a swipe or two. Also utilizing this TurboEraser on the carpeted stairs in our home has been helpful. I feel this is a good vacuum and clearly should make most consumers happy without being a huge financial investment. For the price I think it's a good value and I think it does a stellar job for cleaning in our home with a family of 3.

This is a good vacuum at a good price, it more than adequately gets the job of cleaning your house done in an efficient manner. The large bag-less canister allows you to vacuum longer than many other vacuums of this size. The brushes and accessories are great for pets and make cleaning up after animals a breeze. The included cord retrieval is an amazing idea and makes finishing up easy to accomplish.

I'm returning this! Suction on the floor is ok, but with the wand is ALMOST NOTHING!! Vacuuming for me includes going around edges of room with the wand sucking up all the detritus. First, there is no wand, just a flimsy hose and about a 18" wand... useless when you are trying to really work. Second, the suction is so, so weak, cannot even pick up a coin well. Also, instructions are poor and there isnt room on the vacuum to store all the parts. I just do not like this vacuum. I miss my Dyson DC14 that I bought refurbished and had for 15 yrs!!
