Hard to push on new carpet
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used it to clean up cats puke. Works good for that. I find it very hard to move over my new carpet. Will call to check on that. It sucks up spilled water very well. On My laminated wood floor in kitchen turned good. Much brighter. On The grout floor in bathroom can't tell if it cleaned, that's because the floor is new.

The best Christmas present this year
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has been fantastic. It keeps our floors clean way better than our old vacuum. My wife and I love the self-cleaning feature. The old vac we had to remove the brush/roller and clean it in the sink. This is less messy and yucky and a whole lot faster.

I like it
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have MS and this is easier for me to handle than a mope and bucket. Dirty water can fill quickly. So the water retrieval side could be larger. You must be very slow in movements. Too harse will make the float lift and give you a full reading forcing you to turn off, then on. But satisfied overall.

Good vacuum
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It sucks very well and easy to clean. My only problem is when you’re mopping with it, it tends to leak dirty water or leave streaks. Battery life is good if you have a smaller house, mine is 1,300 sq ft and it lasts. The two rollers are very convenient.

This could serve to say bye to your mops
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The potential and the idea of a device that could serve you to clean the multisurfaces of the house for both potential scenarios: wet and dry, is without doubt brilliant. Thinking in cleaning all kind of mess that you can find in your floors if you have kids and/or pets is adding a level of excitement. The non-dependence from the electrical wire is promising. Finally, as a proud owner of other two Bissell products, the brand behind the idea was the definitive reason to bring the CrossWave max home. After opening the box, I was positively surprised of all the elements included in the kit, with the CrossWave machine, I found included up to four cleaning formulas bottles with two different components, the needed battery charger (that is a full unit on its own), an additional/second cleaning brush and a second filter. All those elements are adding value for money. I want to recognize that this time, Bissell engineers (I mentioned that I own a previous Bissell vacuum model), they found an easy way to assembly the machine for first use that doesn’t require a screwdriver. After saying that, in the last week, I used the CrossWave few times in all kind of situations and surfaces, my experience has been: 1.- The lack of an electrical wire is one of the key elements in all the new cleaning tools and allows CW to make its work easy. My house is not too big (three medium size rooms) and a charge does the work running completely out at the end. I guess that if your house is bigger, the battery life could be a bit short. 2.- The work is done quite nicely in both surfaces, carpet and hard floors. I think that considering the own nature of the surfaces, the visual is more obvious in the hard floors when the mess is physically disappearing being absorbed into the reservoir than when we clean carpet. However, not being an exclusive vacuum but a multisurface cleaning, I am not surprised that the suction power is not as impressive as my other vaccuum. 3.- The use is very intuitive. Only two separate reservoirs: one for cleaning formula (water plus the formula) and a separate one for collecting the waste and dirty water, in both cases easy to access and easy to remove. There are only three switchers/buttons: turning on/off, selecting the surface and activating the liquid dispenser, two in the front of the handle and one in the back for an ideal one hand management. Good for ergonomics! 4.- The machine mobility while cleaning and access to the low accessibility areas is quite good. I think however that in comparison with a traditional vacuum that pass over the dirt to suck it up, the process here, with the intent of a deep cleaning, require the brush to scrape the surface. This process creates a certain resistance and require a stronger arm for the operator. 5.- Cleaning wet messes is awesome! Say bye to mops and any other previous way of doing it, just past the machine and it literally disappear into the specific reservoir. I appreciate that inside this reservoir a basic strainer serves to separate solids from liquids. This helps in the machine itself cleaning and I found that makes the disposal more environmental sensitive. 6.- I love the idea of the self-cleaning cycle. I cannot find a simpler way of rinsing the brush. 7.- Once the job is done, my less favorite moment arrives. Cleaning the CrossWave itself in my opinion is still a too manual process and not necessary well figure it out by Bissell engineers. Emptying the dirty water reservoir and rising it will force the user to get literally your hands dirty. The reservoir should be dismounted, the strainer empty on its own, the dirty liquid disposed and them rinsed again and the air filter needs to be also cleaned under the tab. Same issue with the brush, while the self cleaning process serves for basic rinsing, a more thorough cleaning is required under the tab to get rid of hair or more resistant stains. I don’t think that I will say that this is “easy to clean after you clean” as the publicity stands. 8.- The CrossWave include also Wi-Fi connectivity and an app. Other than for accessing some basic videos, controlling your functioning time or registering your device, I never found something more useless. I only used CW over a week so I can not comment about the lifespan. My conclusion is that this machine is going in the right direction to eliminate the old mops and to make the cleaning processes simpler and less traumatic (hard to say enjoyable). But is still short in arriving there. The battery life is still too short and a more “clean” disposal process should be figure it out. Very good but not perfect, so you should see the investment.

Best purchase
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. That's the best purchase I made. It cleans the house quickly and easily. It's a bit annoying to clean it after use, but the result is so great I don't mind. A bit pricey though.

CrossWave Max Cordless
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall the product works and cleans very well. My only complaint is the battery only lasts about 30 minutes. I feel I have to rush some spots just to get through with my cleaning. Also, the charging times take way to long.

"Lifesaver"
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used to laugh at the infomercial on tv... "our house is less dirty... so we find ourselves .. spending less time ... cleaning ". I now quote that aloud with a beaming smile. Best purchase I have ever made. I have two children under 10, three large rambunctious dogs and a mischievous cat... needless to say my hardwood/tile flooring takes a beating. Now, its not a problem - not even a chore. My family has fittingly named it "Lifesaver" and I couldnt agree more.

Love it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have mostly wood floors and some carpet and area rugs. The wood floors are so much work- I’m constantly sweeping and mopping and sweeping again. This thing basically sweeps and mops at the same time, saves me time. My spot cleaner that I used previously on me carpet was difficult to clean and gets really gross, this thing has a self cleaning cycle that you run after each use. I know it’s pricey but for me totally worth it. I’m not a neat freak but this thing makes me understand a little bit the people who geek out over stuff like this. I used the Best Buy pick up curbside option for this- great service.

Does a good job.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If water cools it leaves streaks on the floor. However, does a great job of cleaning. I have about 1500 sq ft of bamboo floors. I bought this cleaner because I could never clean these floors without it. Love the machine. I keep it clean as it says in directions.
