This vacuum works very well. It lifts the carpet where it is crushed from heavy traffic. I love the fact that I do not have to buy bags(I do carry the gargage outside to empty the dirt trap so it does not get all over inside) It can sometimes be a bit hard to push but on the right height setting it works fine. The power cord is not smooth so it can be a bit rough on the hands when storing it. I have never been a big fan of upright vacuums so it takes alot of adjusting. The easy accsess attachments help in this area. Not great on stairs even with the attachments you have to remember to turn it the correct direction so it doesn't fall over and down the stairs. As far as cleaning though it really does do the job I expect from a vacuum cleaner.

We decided to get a new vacuum after we got a dog. We chose this one and love it. It works great on pet hair. I love the long hose for vacuuming the stairs. My only complaint is it doesn't make turns well.

I have just had this product for one day, but I was amazed at what my old vacuum was leaving behind. We have 2 long haired dogs and 2 cats in the house and I had to empty it twice before I was done with my whole house mainly for all the pet hair it vacuumed up but there was a lot of dirt too. I used the turbo tool on the sofa where one of the dogs likes to sleep. A couple of times over the spot and it got all the hair. I usually have to brush it over and over and then get it with the vacuum hose. After just using it one time, the carpet and furniture look a lot better than before. I can't say enough about this vacuum.

The Bissell HealthyHome is the best vacuum I've tried in over a decade! My rugs looked brand new after a single vacuuming -- quite a feat considering I have 2 long-hair cats. Does an excellent job on berber and low carpets, as well as wood floors. The accessories quickly snap back onto the vacuum. Detachable hose is long, semi-transparent, and sturdy; plus the no-tip feature actually works. Quick-release dust canister empties out easily. I am thrilled with this purchase!

Love it. The first day I vacuumed my entire house and was amazed (embarrassed) at how much dirt it picked up. Yes, it tips over if you use the hose when the back of the vacuum is facing you. Simple to fix, turn the vacuum around so that it is facing you when you are using the hose. I accidentally hit the power button while I was vacuuming a few times. It is annoying, but I'll live with it

This is one of the best purchases that I have ever made. I have 3 kids and lots of carpet, so it it used often. I love that it is so easy to use the hand tools with the hose and all of the attatchments actually stay on the vacuum, unlike most. I have had this vacuum so far for 6 months with no problems at all, and it still sucks up like when I first bought it.

I was hesitatn at first to buy another Bissell. Every Bissell I haved owned has been a lemon. After reading the reviews. I went for it and I'm glad I did. This has benn and excellent vacuum. My floors have never looked cleaner. I hope that it holds up this way for a long time.

We really like this Great product. We had been looking for a vacuum for sometime and have found it. It was not outrageously priced and it also is a way of cleaning heathier. A bit heavy weight for my 10yr old to use. Overall it is great.

I was very impressed with how much was in the canister after just one pass. Unfortunately by the time i was done cleaning the whole house my arms hurt.

Performance power is good, but vacuum tips over easy if hose is pulled to out to far. Also produces a loud whistle. It is very heavy and does not manuever very well. I wish I would never had purchased it. It's not worth the price. My suggestion would be search for another brand. G

I really enjoy using this vacuum. Our allergies have been eased from using it. It is easy to push. Great pick up of dirt.

Brushbar quits unexpectedly without touching the button when hot. The canister is really hard to empty, you have to use your hands. Extremely heavy not self propelled. Even though i did a lot of research in vaccuum cleaners and this one had all the features i wanted, i ignored the comments about it being heavy and hard to empty (new carpets give off a lot of fuzz). If you are a strong woman (which i used to rock climb so i am not a weakling) you can handle this vaccuum, but if you are the average woman, this one will be too heavy. It got to the point i did not even look forward to vaccuuming.

BISSELL HAS BUILT THIS VACUUM SO THAT YOU CAN NOT REPLACE THE BELT BY USING BOLTS THAT CAN'T BE REMOVED WITH ANY NORMAL TOOL. OURS LASTED 1 YEAR. THEY WANT TO FORCE YOU TO TAKE IT TO AN EXPENSIVE SERVICE CENTER. WE LIVE NEAR A WORLD FAMOUS CITY AND THE NEAREST SERVICE CENTER IS OVER 100 MILES AWAY. I WILL NEVER BY ANOTHER BISSELL PRODUCT.
