Handy little spot cleaner
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a neat little spot cleaner. I really like its compact size, which makes it easy to store away when not in use. When you need to pull it out, it's easy to setup. The tanks look large, but the markings on them have you barely filling either tank halfway. Helpfully though, they include markings for "small area" cleanup, so you don't have to fill the whole thing up if you just have a couple small stains to clean. The vacuum does make a fair bit of noise for it small size, almost comparable to a full-size vacuum, which is a bit surprising. Also, annoying when you want to pretreat, but don't want to let the clean water to get cool. It pretty easily got mud and some older stains out of my carpet. Obviously it's actual cleaning power depends a bit more on the detergent used and the seriousness of the stain, but the utility of this device is pretty cool.

Terrible
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely hate this machine. It does not heat the water but is supposed to keep hot water hot. It does not do that. Although it pulls up some dirt, so much is left behind along with the liquid. I wish I was still able to return it… I have used it 2-3 times and now it just sits around. Look for something better!

Works great
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Bissel Little Green Pro Heat does what it's supposed to. It's an effective spot and upholstery cleaner that works well for those quick or small spot cleaning needs. It was easy to assemble and use right out of the box. The only caution I would say is that the unit needs to be kept fairly level, otherwise some of the solution may leak out of a connection somewhere. I found that after use the bottom of the unit was wet and I discovered if I tilted the unit a little then some drips would appear from somewhere. So just keep it level and it will be fine.

Did not keep water heated.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When starting with hot water like it says to. The machine does not keep the water hot. I says its supposed to but the water just came out cold by the time it makes its way through the hose

Works perfect for my kids mess from arts and craft
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everything out the box was super easy to put together. I started out cleaning a blue stain that I had tried cleaning with a full size carpet cleaner but couldn't get close enough to the baseboard where it was. I haven't seen my carpet look this clean since it was new. I am very happy with the results. It works for the convenience of my life and not having to pull out a big cleaner for the spills my kids create. I don't mind pulling this out to clean my car if any spills or accidents occur.

Didn’t have use for it.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This vacuum does not pick up hair and the heating technology doesn’t work on cold days because the water gets cold. I used hot water and it didn’t stay hot, it got cold.

Good size not a good carpet cleaner
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It would shoot water from the bottom, and would not keep the water warm. When I used it as a spot cleaner it did not clean that area.

Great for the occasional quick pickup
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Bissell Little Green ProHeat Handheld Deep Cleaner is great for those times when you need to clean up a small spot on the carpet, but you don’t want to drag out the full-size floor cleaner. My wife and I are big fans of our Bissell upright steam cleaner, but that’s overkill when we just need to clean up a small spot. That’s where the Little Green comes in. There’s just a little bit of setup to do before you can use the Little Green, but it’s mainly just getting the onboard storage for the hose and power cord in place. Once that’s done, you’re ready to go. Using the Little Green is incredibly easy. All you have to do is remove the fill tank, fill with water to the indicated line, then add cleaner until it reaches the next line. One thing that’s interesting about this tool is that it doesn’t have a switch that lets you spray water only. Since the cleaner is mixed with the water, whenever you’re spraying water, you’re spraying cleaner. Using the included sample of cleaner, that didn’t seem to be a problem, but I can see why it would be important to use a cleaner that didn’t foam up a lot. Alternately, you could empty out the fill tank and use only water, but this would be an extra step. The performance of the Little Green was acceptable, but not amazing. It’s easy to change tools on the end of the hose, and there’s even a very cleverly designed tool for cleaning carpeted stairs. The tools have a built-in brush that you use to scrub the carpet, and this works well. I was a little disappointed with the suction, and it took quite a while for me to suck up enough water to consider myself done. Overall, I thought it left the carpet wetter than I would have expected. The suction was definitely better pulling it back versus pushing it forward. Cleanup is pretty easy. The dirty tank has a small plug that the instructions say should be removed when emptying. However, emptying the tank that way is slow and not as thorough. Instead, unscrew the float mechanism in the middle of the tank, remove it, and you can now easily empty and rinse the tank. I’m not sure why anyone would want to empty and rinse the tank using just that small, inefficient opening. For small spots, the Little Green is a great tool. It’s really not practical to use over a large floor, but as a quick spot remover, it works very well. Its size also makes it a great tool for cleaning the upholstery in your car, something that an upright carpet cleaner just can’t do very well. Overall, I really liked the Little Green. Stronger suction and the ability to spray water only would have really made the Little Green a great machine. As it is, it’s a very nice tool that’s convenient for small jobs, especially when a full-sized tool would be too bulky. If you have pets and don’t have something like this, you should really check this out. If you already have a full-sized machine, this isn’t a “must have”, but it is certainly a convenient option to have around.

Small vacuum, great suction
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Video link of review: https://youtu.be/I8I7_RnQTRo Let me start off my saying that one of the most important pieces to cleaning your carpet or upholstery with this vacuum is the cleaning formula you use. Setup of the vacuum was a breeze (great instructions were included, thanks Bissell!) and the accessories that came with the box were very useful. A carpet brush and carpeted stair cleaning brush was included (which I believe is all you need for most home uses). Bissel's oxy plus spot and stain cleaning formula was also included in the box. Before cleaning an area, I recommend the instructed pre cleaning method to remove stains. (Spraying the water mixed solution and waiting 5 minutes, then as you're cleaning spray again and vacuum solution). It is REQUIRED to also check when cleaning upholstery (couches, fabrics) that it allows for the cleaning product to be used on it. The cleaning solution worked well and removed mild stains (removes hard stains in my test when pretreating). The vacuum's suction works very well and is able to remove much water out of carpets/upholstery. Overall, it is a very good small vacuum cleaner and I mainly recommend it for cleaning couches, small carpeted areas, and carpeted stairs.

Great for cleaning up after pets
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing is great for cleaning up pet accidents on carpet. We have a dog and 2 cats and this cleaner is great for preserving the look of our carpets. It's simple to use and does a great job for not a lot of money. I don't have kids but I think if I did having one of these Bissell units would be mandatory.

Works great, easy to use
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have used this on a few areas in our home and it has worked great. Recently our dog was having some health issues which caused her to make some messes in the house. We had to use this on a number of spots on our carpet and it worked great. Make sure you follow the directions for pre-treating the spot and then cleaning. Assembly was easy and straightforward. Unit is very easy to carry around. Cleanup is easy and when you look at what is in the wastewater tank you will be surprised. We had some spots on out master bedroom carpet that were cleaned by a professional and he told us that they would not come out. We used this cleaner on them and they are gone, and they have been in the carpet for several years. I am sold on this unit. The only drawback, and this could be user error is that it seems to leave a fair amount of moisture in the carpet when done so we had to employ a fan to quickly dry the spots we cleaned.

Great portable carpet cleaner, especially stairs!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The BISSELL - Little Green ProHeat Portable Carpet Cleaner is a powerful little cleaner that really comes in handy when you need to clean spills, spots, stains, and in my case, carpeted stairs. My home is three stories with two full sets of carpeted stairs. Vacuuming the stairs is difficult and vacuuming doesn’t really do a good job of deeply cleaning the carpets anyways. As a result, the carpet on my stairs always seemed to look dirty and until now, I wasn’t really able to do anything about it. Once I used this Little Green ProHeat cleaner, I noticed a huge difference in the appearance of my stairs and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The handheld design made it relatively easy to clean each stair compared to the cumbersome process of trying to vacuum each stair and I was surprised to see just how much dirt this little cleaner was able to pull out once I emptied the dirty water tank. Speaking of the tanks, there are separate tanks for clean and dirty water which actually have pretty decent capacity relative to the size of the unit as a whole. Another thing to note is this particular cleaner doesn’t have a built-in hot water heater. Instead, it uses something called “Heatwave Technology” to maintain the water temperature while cleaning. In other words, you have to put hot water in the unit and then the “Heatwave Technology” will keep the water hot. I found this to be true for the most part and was not disappointed by the unit’s ability to maintain the water’s temperature. The unit came with a 3” “Tough Stain Tool”, 3-in-1 “Stair Tool” which actually really helped when cleaning my stairs, and a trial-size of the “Professional Spot & Stain + Oxy” cleaning formula. Overall this is a great portable carpet cleaner and I highly recommend it!

Great Spot Cleaner for Light Duty Cleaning
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Based upon my use of this Bissell SPOTCLEAN LITTLE GREEN PROHEAT Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner Model 2513G, I give it a 3 out of 5 stars. I found the assembly of the product very easy to follow per instructions provided. This product has the ability for the use of a total of 7 different cleaning head attachments which only 2 are provided with the product. This particular product came with a 3" Touch Stain Tool and a 3-N-1 Star Tool. Other attachments are available per the manufacturers website. I tested this product on two residual pet/cat stains whereas normal blotting and hand cleaning failed to remove all the stain. Much to my surprise of just waiting 5 minutes after applying the spay mixure and light scrubbing using the 3" Touch Stain Tool the two spots were completely removed! At this point I was at a 5 out of 5 star review with the following information dropping it to 3 out of 5 stars. In my situation my primary use of this product would be for the use of pet stains. Knowing the main type of cat pet stains is for the clean-up of hair-balls this product does not come with the much needed Stain Trapper Tool. Looking at the manufacturer's website this one cleaning head costs 1/2 the total cost of the product itself. Not having this Stain Trapper Tool would require me to manually clean most of the solid stain residue by hand before using the product. This was not my intent for the use of a carpet and upholstery spot cleaner. Now I am at a 3.5 out of 5 star rating. The last 1/2 star deduction lies with the inability to have the clean water/solution tank dry in a timely manner. The opening of the tank is very small and recessed not allowing all the water to completely drain out of the tank. This required manual evaporation of the clean water/solution tank which took 36 hours. In summary, this is a great product for the removal of small liquid only stains. If you have the regular need to cleans stains having a semi-solid base, just know you will be required to invest in the Stain Trapper Tool. Be patent in letting all the parts dry before putting away especially with the clean water tank.
