A terrific choice!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This time I picked an absolute winner! While the instructions are somewhat vague, once you get the hang of this little wonder, you'll wonder why you waited so long! It's perfect for those little spills and messes!

Ok, but doesn't clean tough stains well
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried using this to remove some old stains from an off-white carpet, and it's a bit disappointing. Despite having "ProHeat" in the name, the machine doesn't actually heat the water or keep it hot. You are required to fill with already heated water. I'm not sure what "ProHeat" or "HeatWave" is supposed to do; the user manual doesn't mention anything about it. This is a fairly heavy machine and although it's great that it's completely self contained, with cord and hose wraps, and attachment points for the tools, it's still bulky and not something I'd want to carry around a lot. The fact that it's corded also makes this inherently less portable or suited for car use than a battery powered option. Given today's battery technology, I would think there should be a cordless version of this instead, especially since the power is not being used for a water heating element. As far as cleaning ability, it's so-so. Based on my experience, the ability to remove stains from carpet and upholstery is more dependent on the age of the stain, what type of stain it is, and what cleaning solution you're using the fight the stain. The machine is just there to facilitate the scrubbing and mop-up of the liquid. Thus, this machine, although "portable" and compact, doesn't really stand out from the crowd.

Packs a punch.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This little thing packs a lot of power. I would give it a 4.5 stars if I could. It has the ability to lift even the toughest of stains, but sometimes I notice it can be hard to completely suck out the water and I've had water stains left on my sofa.

great product for small messes
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Little Green ProHeat comes ready to use right out of the box, after a few pieces are attached without the need for tools. It comes with a 3 inch brush as well as a larger triangular shaped brush great for getting the border of the horizontal and vertical portions of steps. This unit also came with a "hydro rinse tool" that helps to keep the hose clean and this is the first spot cleaner that I've used that has that, and I like it. I find that the spray stream was well-directed and the suction adequate to get the water/detergent back into the dirty water canister after just a few passes. It was evident after the first few brush strokes that it was working, not just by the dirty water brought up into the tank but also the the appearance of the carpet. The directions say to let the cleaning solution set for 5 minutes, which I did not do and still got good results.

One issue
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This cleaner is great, the only bad thing about it is that the hose will wear out because of the way it’s wrapped for storage, try to avoid snapping it in its cradle maybe just rest it under the handle. I had to replace my hose.

Little Green Not So Great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Will be returning for refund. Doesn't suction up water/solution mix well at all. Lightweight is good for carrying but not goo when using (tends to tip over).

Does the Job
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the most part, it does the job well. Notes: the tube itself is slightly short, but manageable, and it comes with a variety of different nozzles. It is powered via an electric cord

Small, handy, and effective steam cleaner.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I spilled ketchup on a very expensive office chair (don’t ask) and tried to clean it with Oxyclean spray, a sponge, and an absorbent towel. 30 minutes of cleaning later and you could barely see the ketchup but the fabric was discolored with a giant tan water mark. Decided to see if Best Buy might have an inexpenive steamer that might help. I picked this little guy up and it worked like magic! In about 5 minutes of steam cleaning the chair looked like new. I’ve since used on my carpet when the dog threw up. Again works like magic. I cannot recommend it enough. One helpful tip. For a small stain use 1/2 the liquid what the manual tells you to. A little goes a very long way.

Unimpressed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not thrilled with this machine. First, why would they put the exhaust on the bottom of the machine? Unless I'm overthinking it, I felt I had to hold the base unit the entire time I used it, lest it overheat. As for the suction, I am impressed. But, unless I missed the section about adding hot water to the tank, it appears that water should be hot before adding it to the tank. The "proheat" feature merely keeps the water hot as long as the unit is running. Given that this is just for spot-cleaning, it seems unnecessary. I'm obviously not going to clean an entire floor on my hands and knees. My biggest complaint is the placement of the trigger. There's no way to comfortably hold the hose handle while applying the pressure needed to suck up the moisture without accidentally spraying more of the solution. I either held it around the neck, which is not comfortable, or by the head, which is only slightly less uncomfortable. I used this on my off-white headboard, and I'm not sure it looks any better. I'll revise this after it dries, if it's warranted. At that point, I'll decide whether or not to keep this unit.
