I feel it has plenty of power to pick up any dog hair on carpets, couch etc. Easy to clean dirt cup, and seems fairly sturdy.

Dog hair sucker

Pretty powerful but does lose power after 15 or 20 minutes. Convenience of being hand held and cordless is awesome to get into all the crevices that dog hair seems to find.
