||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The first mop never worked correctly and left water on the floor. Bissell sent me a new one and it only worked for a week. Now it doesn't steam at all. A lot of money for a poor quality product.

Not a single complaint
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well, for starters, I'm one of those folks that reads a hundred reviews before buying anything. This unit is awesome for the money. The reservoir is large enough to tackle a few rooms at a time (Much larger than most competitors). The unit comes with two pads, which put together, clean my entire house, then I just throw the pads in the washer! It does have a cord, which some people don't like, BUT there's no other way for a mop to make the kind of heat necessary to clean things like ovens (that's where cordless mops fall flat!) I just run the steam mop with the attachment in my oven and its so super clean afterward! It's super effective, super nice, and light enough to maneuver around with ease.

Fantastic steam mop!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought a cheap steam mop elsewhere and brought it back immediately as we were really let down by how it handled, how long it took to heat up, and how it cleaned the floors. Decided that if we were going to get a steam mop that we needed to get one that would really get the job done. Came across this steam mop and looked at reviews on multiple sites, all of them were great! I brought it home and I was skeptical as I have yet to use a steam mop and feel it was worth all that extra money. I mopped the floors first with our standard mop as I would see if this was really doing more than my regular mop. Oh my goodness I could not believe how much dirt it picked up after the regular mop. This mop heats up quickly, has the option for low or high steam and that little scrubber brush is perfect to help get any sticky messes up. the scent disks smell incredible and after using it, I was completely sold. I highly recommend it! If you are in the market for a steam mop, this is the one you want. I used the lift off feature to clean my shower, kitchen counters, doors, and even the walls in certain places. I've already recommended it to a few friends because I love it so much.

almost exactly what I was looking for!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, let's talk about assembly. It's broken down to a few pieces so it can fit in to a much smaller box. Once all of the items are removed, it was a piece of cake putting everything together. Slide the pieces in, click, and screw it in. Done! Once you plug it in, it doesn't take long for it to become ready. It has a fairly long chord to I was able to do my entire kitchen without having to look around for another outlet. The lift off is pretty neat. You can't lift it off without completely unwinding the chord ... which may or may not be a problem if you want to address a quick spill immediately. The top clip simply slides down and you can remove the chord fast enough though. Filling the reservoir is a bit harder than I'd like. First off, there's a small tab that you have to pull out. It's not as difficult as some of the other reviews have made it out to be. It is, however, a little sketchy putting it back in. It doesn't sit flush as you'd expect it to. Basically, push it in and if it doesn't swivel or pop out you'll be fine. The fill area is on the side though. They make it seem like it's simple with their fill cup, but unless you tilt the entire mop it'll be very difficult to fill it up. In fact, I found that the ONLY way to completely fill it up is if it's on its side. Speaking of the fill cup, pay attention to how much you fill it up with. There isn't a clear indicator of how much to put in the cup before filling it up. There's just a bunch of numbers ... but no "HEY! THAT'S QUITE ENOUGH" kind of sign. I did manage to overfill it the first two times before I realized that the 400 mark was it for me. It can get quite messy if you overfill it. I do recommend using distilled water if at all possible. I can certainly see how using anything else may cause a build up down the line. Once the lines are clogged, I don't think it'll be an easy fix. At the cost of the mop, it certainly isn't worth paying shipping anywhere. As for the cleaning ... simply WOW. I did the fancy lift off and used a bunch of the attachments to clean the grout on my kitchen floor. I had absolutely no idea that our grout was 50 shades lighter. We've mopped our floors MANY times ... but nothing was strong enough to hit the grout. I was simply amazed. I then took it to our bathroom and did the grout there. Then I got daring and decided to address a few stains in my wife's car. First up was some sort of oil stain in her carpet. Steamed that bad boy up, loosened the dirt (or whatever it was) then shot some carpet cleaner on there for good measure. Dabbed it up, took a wet vac and took out the liquids as much as possible. I let it dry and immediately could tell that I had to do ALL the carpets the same. Once again, the shade had become lighter and more back to the OEM color. I detail my wife's car inside and out 2 times a year and have never seen anything this powerful. After that, I decided to hit the spilt milk stain that our child decided was a good idea to create. I've attempted many different solutions but never quite got it out. I did the same method as the carpet and BOOM. Gone! I also took it to our range hood over the stove. YEARS of not cleaning it from the previous home owners (ok, and a few years ourselves) has let a nasty buildup of whatever the heck it was. Steamed that bad boy up and just wiped away. We did have to be careful though. The steam also allowed us to lift some of the paint away on our stove. That was more of an operator error on our part. I just go so darn excited that I didn't switch it from high (on the grout) to low when moving to a more gentle needing cleaning area. There are just so many things that you can do with this bad boy. The fact that it has the lift off makes it just THAT MUCH MORE WORTH IT. Initially I was going to buy it through Bissell since they offered the product for $20 off and bestbuy won't price match it if it's not an actual sale and just a rebate ... or at least I was told. Then a few days later the exact one just so happened to be $20 off at BestBuy. I don't usually get all excited about a mop ... but goodness gracious this one has won me over. Now I'm constantly looking around the house for things to tackle it with. I have yet to find something that this thing CAN'T clean! You might be asking why the heck only 4 stars then? Simple. It's solely based on how difficult it is to fill this bad boy up. Bissell has already addressed it on other models and created a top fill instead on a one the side at the bottom fill. However, those models aren't lift offs ... so I'm not entirely sure I'd rate them a 4 or higher either when comparing it to this.

Just bought a second one!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this on a deal of the day because it looked like an easier way to mop. I'm 100% thrilled with this thing. My sister (an absolute neat freak) and I were even fighting over custody of it so I just bought her one. It leaves very little water on the surface so I'm comfortable using it on my engineered hardwood floors and it's great on tile. Cleans up any wet or dry messes without any scrubbing. I typically don't use any soap either, just spot spray ahead of it where needed.

I am so happy I bought this!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Buy Bissell and forget the other brands! After researching several brands of steam mops, and purchasing another brand that did not do the job and was returned, I learned this one was the best. It really works on the filthy dirt trapped in the grooves of my textured tile. I own a Bissell vacuum and it picks up dirt particles at the center of the earth. I should have known, the steam mops made by Bissell would be of the same superior quality.

Awesome on Porcelian Tiles
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I researched the Steam Mops and this model is the best for the money. cleans up even the most heavy of construction mess. Make sure you have extra pads for the heavy jobs. The pads get dirty quickly.

THIS IS THE ONE TO BUY!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I owned just about every STEAM MOP out there and to date... this is the one to beat! --- - LARGE (cleaning) HEAD - adjustable HEAT SETTINGS - EASY to read CONTROLS --- the only thing missing (and the reason for 4 and not 5 stars) is a HEAT PLATE to rest the steam mop on when not in use or when heating/cooling down --- should BISSELL include that it would be a PERFECT 5 STAR PRODUCT!

A great product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had tried other steam mops but this is so much better. It has a larger water container and a brush. The steam pulsates giving a better clean.

Don't waste your money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unless your flooring is a 5x5, I wouldn't waste your money. I was so disappointed. Got this home all excited to use, thinking this was going to simplify my life, boy was I wrong. After only cleaning 1/4 of my living room tile, you could see the streaks forming. I'm not spending $120 on a mop that is going to leave streaks! Guess it's back to a bucket and mop for me.
