We have all types of hard floors in our house (tile, laminate, linoleum) and this thing works great on all of them! It gets SO hot so you must be careful when using it on floor types such as laminate but it definitely gets the job done! I love the different heat seatings and scrubber pad for tougher caked on messes that have set for a while. The swivel head and pocket for the scent packs is awesome too! I would definitely buy again.

Good...does the job

I used it twice in 3 weeks, and soon discovered Bissell had introduced a combination vacuum/steam mop, which would've fulfilled my needs far better. Best Buy rertun policy is 14 days (a strong consideration for future purchases), so I'm stuck but would've bought the vacuum/steam mop combo. If you're looking for a steam mop only, this product would suffice--but one needs to sweep or vacuum floors first.

Glad I bought the bissell, even if a little pricey

Doesn't really clean the grout though; but I have found nothing short of on knees with scrub brush cleans grout. I used half of the fresh-scent disc, and found that to be just right. The discs last much longer than I thought they would. Only used the high steam, since all tile.

However, I think the microfiber pads for the Power Fresh Steam Mob Model 1940 (the one I purchased) are too costly and are hard to find. No one seems to carry them.f
