Customers are saying
Customers consistently note the ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro Plus Carpet Cleaner's excellent cleaning performance and ease of use, with many praising its effectiveness on pet hair and lightweight design. However, some users point out that the water tank is on the small side and the machine can be quite loud during operation. A few also mention that the price point may be considered high by some consumers.

bissell preheat
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this carpet cleaner to keep up with messes made by two large dogs. It was great at first, but became difficult to clean and doesn't seem to do as good of a job as it did at first.

Didn't work as expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This carpet cleaner removed the soil from the carpet, but seemed to deposit it at the location where you terminate use. When going back over the same area to correct it would happen again at the place that you stop.

Great cleaner that got the tough stains out!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this cleaner after reading many reviews about many cleaners...I'm not going to lie, the negative reviews (though few) made me nervous. I have never owned a carpet cleaner and have only rented the rug doctor, so that is my comparison. Here are my thoughts: 1st assembly time was a little under 10 minutes. The only thing you need is a screwdriver. I found the instructions located on the handle a bit difficult, but they did the trick. Using it was simple. The buttons are all obvious as to what they do. There is a tank for clean water and a tank for dirty water, both of which are very easily accessible and light, so there is no heavy lifting involved like with the rug doctor. I had to change the water in both tanks 4 times to do my living room and hallway. Although it seems like quite a bit, there was WAY less effort involved than when I had to change the rug doctor water since the tanks were so much smaller. I feel like the suction is good, and it sucked up lots of dirty water, but I also feel like if I followed the instructions and went very slow, my carpet would have been wet for a long time and taken at least a day to dry, which I don't remember ever being the case with the rug doctor. I did slow passes to put the soapy water down and then one slow pass and multiple quick passes like you would use a vacuum to suck up the water and that picked up the water better. I was in deep clean mode and it took approximately 2-3 hours to dry doing it that way. Today I used it again on another carpet and wasn't trying so hard to have it dry right away: I just did the one pass to put water down and 3 passes to pick it up. It's dry at this point and it has been about 8 hours. I don't find that to be a big deal. Every stain on my floor came out except one that was right one the edge of where the carpet meets tile. I will say, I'm very impressed. I have 2 dogs (one of which sheds so much, I have to vacuum 3x per week). They've had multiple accidents on my carpet which are typically treated with spray and a brush. I rarely deep clean my carpet, so I didn't figure the stains would come up as good as they did. One thing I was not a fan of: this cleaner turns hair into wet hair balls and leaves it on the floor. It definitely is a must to vacuum your carpet before you start (I did!) I understand it is not supposed to suck hair up, but it was gross cleaning up hairballs produced by the carpet cleaner. Outside of the hairball thing, I really like this carpet cleaner. I feel like it does a great job on less than stellar carpets, is VERY easy to clean after you are done using it (pieces come apart for easy cleaning), is compact enough to go in the closet and doesn't break your back to use it. Also, it has very useful attachments. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Doesn’t vacuum like it should
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The carpet cleaning for pet stains works very well, however I had to exchange this my first time around due to the vacuum not picking up hair and dirt.. This is the second time with a new vacuum and it still doesn’t pick up anything. Defeats the entire purpose of having a vacuum especially for the price.

Can’t Live Without
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have 9 pets, so as you could probably imagine they like to make some messes every now & then. This carpet cleaner is a life saver! It literally can clean anything from dried mud to a pee stain, to a yucky hair ball. It does it all. You can see the carpet become brighter & whiter in front of your eyes. It works wonders. I love that they have lots of different cleaning solutions for every type of mess, & I love that it comes with lots of attachments for every situation. The heating element doesn’t leave the carpet super wet. It’ll be completely dry within an hour. My only cons I have with it is that it is loud & sometimes hair will get stuck in the clear piece that sucks up the water off the floor. It does come with a cleaning tool so it’s an easy fix. I would highly recommend getting the GSP on this though. Our 1st one sprang a leak in the clean water reservoir after a few years. The GSP saved us from having to buy a new one because we cannot live without this thing!!

Great for pet owners
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We own a cat that sheds a lot and this carpet cleaner has done an excellent job of cleaning our carpets. First of all, it is very easy to put together. Once it is out of the box, the first thing you notice is that it is very light weight. On the heavy traffic areas we used the deep cleaning mode and the carpet looks great. For all other areas we used the express cleaning mode and the carpet looks good, but not as good as the deep cleaning mode. I do have to say that with the express mode the carpet did dry out in less than 2 hours which is a big plus if you are in a pinch. Overall, I am very happy with the Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution.

Bissell works beyond all expectations.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The new Bissell Proheat 2X Revolution comes packaged very well with every attachment that you will ever need and as impressive as this system looks out of the box is matched by it's performance. While I'm not going to say it's perfect but for an all in one carpet & fabric cleaner this machine comes very close to it. The instructions are well written and it is very easy to put together and start running in less than 15 minutes and the only tool you need is a Philips screwdriver for 1 screw and everything else just snaps into place. Once assembled it feels very sturdy and is built to last. The only con that I have found so far is the weight which can also be considered as a pro. It feels pretty heavy in the handle which I wasn't expecting and if you have a bad back as I do this machine will definitely put a strain on it and after doing our 30 foot hallway I was feeling the weight in my lower back for sure. With that said, my wife took over and did the living room and the first thing she noticed was how much weight was up high in the handle but it didn't bother her at all and we had the whole upstairs done in about an hour. Our carpets hadn't been cleaned in over a year and we went through almost all of the 2 bottles of cleaner that came with the machine so they were way overdue for cleaning and I really figured we would have to clean them again next weekend with a dog, rabbit, and children running everywhere. But after it dried our light colored carpet turned out cleaner than I ever could have imagined! Except for 1 heavy grease spot (my bad) the carpets came out beautifully and will need heavy duty cleaner to get the grease spot out but it did take about half of the spot out with the spot sprayer which is very cool and handy to have incorporated into the cleaner. Bissell does make a stronger solution and I will be buying that to clean the kids rooms and I am planning on using it to clean the car as well and will update my review after using the attachments for those jobs. The tanks are easy to remove and fill but the waist tank seems to be a little small and the cleaner will continue to run but will stop spraying and cleaning once the waist container hits a certain level over the full mark which is about the halfway full area by the way it looks to me but just be aware that you have to keep emptying the waist container 2 to 3 times per tank of cleaner. In closing, both my wife and I highly recommend this carpet cleaner. The carpets came out beautifully and we can take our time doing the other cleaning jobs which we couldn't do if we rented a machine. My wife loves it and is a very happy camper so with that said I can't recommend this bissell enough!
