Customers are saying

Customers value the SpinWave Cordless Powered Mop's ease of use and cleaning performance, frequently praising its lightweight design and cordless convenience. However, some users express concerns regarding the battery life and the durability of the cleaning pads. A few also mention that the motor could be more powerful for thorough cleaning on all floor types. Overall, the positive feedback on ease of use and cleaning outweighs the negative comments on other features.

Okay, I'll admit that I am perhaps one of the worst when it comes to house cleaning. Seriously, until this Spinwave I hadn't owned a mop since I moved in to my apartment six months ago. For my apartment I only have two areas that are not carpeted, the kitchen (small) and the bathroom (surprisingly large). If I made a mess I'd typically just wipe it up. I did not realize just how "dirty" those two floors were until after the first time I used the Spinwave! It took a couple of hours to hit a full charge and I started with the scrubbing pads that were included in the box. Whoa! What a difference! This things is dead simple to use and really does a nice job of cleaning the floors. And the added convenience of a powered scrubbing "mop" means that I don't mind running this thing a couple of times a week. The swivel head means it can get to some hard to reach places and makes it kind of neat to use. As I said, I don't have an entire house to clean using this so I've been able to get about two uses between charges. If your home/apartment is primarily hardwood or laminate then you'll probably have some issues with the battery. Overall, this Spinwave is an excellent buy. And fun to use.

Very Good Rechargeable Hard Surface Mop

Easy to use especially if you need something easy on your back. Almost as if it is self-propelled due to how it the brushes move in a clockwise and counterclockwise rotation underneath. Came with two sample size bottles of multi-surface cleaner that worked well on our Brazilian cherry wood floor. We will try the soap that is dedicated to wood at some point in the future. Make sure you thoroughly sweep up any debris first to ensure you aren’t just spreading it around and creating more work for yourself. Battery lasted for about 500 square feet but in the last section, you could tell it was losing some of its power. Recharging took about two hours and there is an indicator on the front to let you know once it is complete. Overall, this is a good product and does a thorough job. I would recommend it.

The SpinWave Cordless Powered Mop is building on a solid product lineup from Bissel. Assembly was a 'snap' and requires little to no time to get this product ready for use - other than doing the initial full-charge conditioning of the battery. Overall, the cleaning effectiveness of this machine is solid. The weight and balance of this power mop feels nearly perfect along with the height (extension) of the handle. In operation, the rotation action provides a steady and predictable amount of forward 'pull', never feeling like it is going to take off or go out-of-control. The kit comes with two sets of cleaning pads, one for set that can be used for any surface because of the relative softness of the contact surface and a second set explicitly designed for increased scrubbing action - which is not recommended for hard woods or delicate surfaces. We found both pad types to be extremely effective in removing dirt otherwise left behind by our Shark steam-based cleaner. Outstanding! The unit is not very loud in operation and charges relatively quickly. Cannot comment on the battery life duration due to the limited time to test but at first blush, it appears this system should easily clean a few hundred square feet at least twice under normal conditions. Cleaning solution consumption was markedly less than expected and our floors dried quickly with the provided solution. The only gripe I have about this system is that it only comes with one set of each type of cleaning pad. I don't see the added cost factor of providing two sets of each as a big deal and it would make for a better customer experience to always have at least 1 extra set of pads in waiting. At the very least, Bissel should include 2 sets of the basic cleaning pad as this will be the more commonly used arrangement. Other than that minor nit, the overall design and performance far exceeded our expectations. Pros: Easy to assemble. Light weight and very well balanced in-hand. Remarkably quiet in operation. Strong yet controlled motion on tile and hardwood surfaces. Charges quickly. Cleans thoroughly with a minimum amount of solutions sprayed. Cons: Should come equipped with 2 sets of the regular pads and 1 set of the deeper cleaning, scrub pads. * 4 and half stars to be sure and we'd recommend this product to friends & family without a second thought.

Bissell Spinwave Mop Keeping It Simple

I figured by the slightly weighty feel to the Spinwave that it would be kind of powerful and I was not disappointed. The AC charger needs to be connected until the indicator lights show it's ready. Once I added warm tap water and the included cleaning solution to the easy-to-access fluid tank (it has marks for small and large jobs) and put the tank cap back on and into position it was ready to work. The two sets of included pads (fine and coarse) attach with tough velcro pads and can be set inside the storage base to make it easy to center them on the mop. Set the pads in place, and set the mop down right on them in the base, and you are ready to go. I chose the small job tank level and set about doing the linoleum floors in the kitchen and 2 bathrooms. It took very little time and with the swivel ability of the mop head itself and the ability of the pad edges to reach further than the actual mop ahead along the edges of cabinets and appliances, I was able to get clean what I can't quite hit with a steam mop. The mop motors are pretty powerful but quiet, and you can feel the "intertia" of them as they spin the mop pads. All you have to do to spray the cleaner is press a button on the handle and the unit beeps to confirm the solution is coming out. I noticed the mop wants to "travel" quickly a bit along edges of carpet edge strips, but there is nothing that seems of a concern. The ease of getting the tank in and out, the ease of attaching and detaching the cleaning pads, the remaining battery indicator (I used a third on this test) and the overall good job it did make this Spinwave mop a decent addition to your household cleaning arsenal. I bet it would make keeping a laminate floored house clean a lot easier than with a steam mop, though really high traffic and grungy situations might benefit from the heat of those. In any case, the Spinwave was very quick to set up and very easy to use.

This powered floor mop is fantastic! The way I describe this product to people is that it’s like one of those machines that janitors use in schools to buff the floor (like in the movies) – except modern looking, made for your house, and lightweight/compact. Setup is a snap, all you do is attach two touch pads and add the appropriate solution/water combo. It comes with softer pads for hardwood floors and scrubby ones for tougher messes. Using it is even easier because of the rotating pads – it’s basically self-propelled with the only work coming from using the on-demand spray to dispense as much or little solution on the floor (which is great for wood and laminate floors especially). In terms of solutions, there are various ones such as an all-in-one, wood, or even area rug. Which brings me to my favorite part – it can be used on area rugs too! What an insanely brilliant idea. As you’re cleaning your floor you can literally just move it from the floor to the area rug – so all walking areas are being cleaned. I have already recommended this to all my family and friends. Each person has been amazed when using it and has either bought one or is saving up to get one. I’ve gone through a ton of cleaning tools and it ended up sticking with the traditional mop and bucket with pedal that spins the mop in the bucket before coming upon this. Everything else I have come across either didn’t do a great job cleaning or if it did, it took too long to assemble/clean up. This is the perfect mix of great cleaning ability, ease-of-use, and complete tool; not to mention has replaced all floor cleaning tools and products unrelated to this. If you have hard floors, this is a must have!
