Customers value the SpinWave Cordless Powered Mop's ease of use and cleaning performance, frequently praising its lightweight design and cordless convenience. However, some users express concerns regarding the battery life and the durability of the cleaning pads. A few also mention that the motor could be more powerful for thorough cleaning on all floor types. Overall, the positive feedback on ease of use and cleaning outweighs the negative comments on other features.

Cordless is Great
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with our existing SpinWave but so happy to lose the cord with this one. It also comes with a tray to keep the mop in when not in use which our corded one didn't have. Cleans dog slobber (Newfoundland) off our wood floors as primary thing to clean. Just need to find a place to keep it when charging as just hanging off the door no longer works. Like having two sets of scrubbing pads. Only negative... comes with two sample size bottles of cleaner. For some reason, one of them didn't have a top.

Most amazing floor cleaner ever
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We just bought our home and the kitchen and dining room has white tile floors that I have literally been crying daily because they’re impossible to keep clean. Well let me say, this machine is absolutely incredible. It does all the work for you. My floors look brand new and it’s almost effortless!! I seriously can’t believe we paid so little for this!! It’s just amazing!! No cord getting in the way is a huge bonus!!!

Surprisingly effective!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our Hoover Floormate Deluxe broke after 2 years of moderate use. Not uncommon apparently and the spare parts run at 50 bucks. Not worth it for a $150 appliance. Few options around really as it always boils down to Floormate vs Crosswave. The latter being way overpriced and the former has a short service life. Also, both perhaps a little too much action? Flooding, scrubbing, sucking - good for big messes but for the routine cleaning...takes way longer than manual mopping. Then I noticed the spinwave. Wasn’t initially impressed about the idea because of the smearing dirt around rather than actually cleaning yadayadaya. I bit the bullet anyway and went for the cordless version. Didn’t expect much but boy was I wrong. I Roomba’d the floors first as usual and once I started mopping away I realized that this thing is actually amazing. Super quick, surprisingly shiny floors and did I say super quick? Recommended. So why 4 stars? I wished the motor was a little stronger and spinning faster. Other than that, no problems. Did the house comfortably with a charge. Our floors are laminate btw, poorly sealed. Go for it, it’s actually working.

Worth it.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s definitely more thank you would spend for just a regular mop, but it takes all the work of preparing water and scrubbing those floors away. A lot of its less expensive swifter require you to constantly buy new pads to clean and you don’t with this. The refillable water tank allows me to change what solutions I want to use to clean my house. It’s made to last. Just be aware that the bulky head unit could be restricted of cleaning in tight areas, but other than that I’m extremely happy with this purchase. The battery lasts quite awhile and it’s easy to pick up and use after the water tank is filled.

This Is A Great Powermop
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife and I couldnt be happier to have this to clean with. Our hardwoods are new and kids are all grown and gone so they dont get really dirty except for normal dust and cat sneezes on them. All we used on that was plain water and the normal cleaning pads and they were beautiful. The kitchen vinyl takes more abuse because of drips and drops while cooking, cleaning and taking out the garbage. Plus its alight color and we live in coal country about 1500' away from the main track between the mines and the local power plant and coal dust is an issue as we track it in and the vinyl seems to be a magnet for it. It was hard to clean with conventional mops but this power mop gets it so clean that it almost looks and feels like a new floor. We cleaned it with the Bissell cleaner provided with the powermop and it did a superior job of getting into the texture on the floor and it really dries fast, its nearly dry when you finish. The battery was only 1/3 depleated and we cleaned the Kitchen, Dining and living room combo and the bathroom. The bathroom flooring is the luxury snap lock vinyl and we used the Bissell cleaning solution on that as well.

Effective scrubbing
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been looking to replace my steam mop because of its age and this fell in my lap. Using the water / solution mix - it did pretty good getting some marks off the old linoleum. I took it to the wood laminate and it also gave a nice shine, however left a bit of a cloudy residue. Perhaps a bit less solution for the future. Overall, the two different pads make a good difference and it's quiet. Very quiet. It has a bit of pull when you turn the handle and given that the pads are circular, you can't get into 90 degree corners. There is a plastic mat that you can rest the mop on and it has holes, allowing for the pads to dry - a cool idea.

Ok, but not for heavy duty cleaning
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used this mop several times in the week I've had it and so far its just about average. The battery lasts for a decent amount of time for a fully cordless mop. I would say about 30 minutes or so. I liked that it came with two bottles of cleaning solution and two sets of cleaning pads so i could use it right out of the box. Also included is a tray that the mop sits in when not in use. Not a big deal, but kind of nice to have. My biggest complaint with this mop is that it is more suitable for surface cleaning. I have young kids who specialize in making messes. This works well for quick clean ups and spills, but not for something that has hardened or been sitting overnight. I like that it cleans in a circular motion unlike my Shark Mop that just steams the floor. I wish the brushes scrubbed a little bit harder so that it would clean more of the hardened mess on the floor. I used the scrub pads with the cleanser and it picked up the easy stains pretty easily. I tried cleaning up spaghetti sauce that was left overnight and I had to saturate it with the water and it still didn't clean it all up. I ended up scrubbing it with a separate scrub brush and then cleaned it up. I thought this mop would let me get rid of the conventional mop and bucket, but instead, it is ideal for use in between heavy cleanings and for spot cleanups. For the price, i would probably buy something else, so I wouldn't recommend this mop for primary use and there are other options available that are a little bit less.

Did a great job on my floors!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.New homeowner here. Got this Bissell and hit my floors for the first time since we moved in. Who knows what type of grime was really on the floor since the design is darker. After sweeping up all the random things, I cranked up my charged up spinwave and went to town. It is EXTREMELY easy to use! It basically moves itself around and you just guide it. It had plenty of battery left after doing my kitchen so I went ahead and hit a few more rooms. All the floors looked and felt clean. Way easier than pushing a mop or even a swiffer. The white cleaning pads were grimy after I was done, popped them in the washer and they're ready to rock and roll again. I love this thing!

Nice concept, easy to use
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I have a lot of hard floors in my house and I have been looking for a decent mop to clean a lot of it without soaking the floors since I have engineered hardwoods. This looked like the ticket. To start, the mop is reasonably compact, comes with a 'stand' and 4 pads (2 sets). It works like many other mops in the class by spraying cleaning solution in front of the mop then you run the mop over it, rather than dipping it in a bucket and slopping water all over the place. What sets this one apart however is the powered part of it. The pads spin and actually pull the mop forward, it's almost like a vacuum for your hard floors while still being a mop. The cleaning capability is decent, I had a few dried mess spots to try this out on and it did a good job with little effort. Now for a couple of negatives... Charging the mop is a bit of a disappointment. It comes with an AC adapter, however it just hangs out of the wall with a wire that you plug into the back of the mop, there's no dock, wall mount, or other clean look to the charging system, so it can easily become just another AC adapter that you forget what it is part of if you put it away at some point. The stand has holes around the side so dont plan on putting the mop on it with wet pads or it'll leak on to your floors. There's also no place to put the extra pads on the mop or the stand. So in all you have 3-5 'accessories' that just have to sit somewhere rather than being self-contained. All in call it's a decent automatic mop that does not put down too much water which allows it to work for a wide variety of floors, but the accessory management and charging ease of use could use a little more attention.

Much faster and easier than doing by hand
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very simple floor cleaner to use. We just cleaned three rooms and the battery was still 3/4 full. Once done, you simply remove the pads and wash them. This is much better than getting down on the old knees. The unit gets under cabinets well, is very quite and easy to use. We might even buy an extra set of pads to use for waxing. Of course we would apply the wax directly to the floor using this as unit to provide the nice even coat. (This is an idea, NOT manufacture recommended I'm sure). Simply out, nice unit, easy to use and does a nice job.

Nice time saver
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a handy cleaning device to own. An entire floor of my house is wood, and the SpinWave makes cleaning a snap. Difficult spills and animal messes come up easily. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is the handle, which is two pieces that are supposed to snap together, never snaps right. This means that if I grab it out of the included stand without using the grab bar, it comes apart.

Makes Cleaning Fun!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product is my first dive into a power hard floor cleaner. I was a little skeptical at first, but needed something to keep the hardwood looking fresh. When I fired this thing up, I got all excited and didn't want to stop cleaning. I was surprised the battery lasted about 25 minutes and still had juice left. I felt like Kramer test driving the car on Seinfeld!! It took a little practice to get good around the edges, but luckily the swivel ability made for some quick learning. I pretty much felt like I was cleaning a big marble floor with a giant commercial buffer...at least that how I pictured myself. But seriously, I did a light vacuum to suck up the dust then took this Bissell for a spin. Result...the floors looked amazing. The only reason I went 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wish it spun a little faster. The speed of the pads pretty much dictates how fast you can get through the job. They spin fast enough to do a good job cleaning, but after a bit, I wished it had a faster speed. Overall, the item is well built, easy to use, and perfect for a nice polish on the floors.

Not Up To The Job
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The BISSELL SpinWave Cordless Mop is designed to fit somewhere between a Swiffer WetJet (spray and mop) and something more aggressive like the Hoover FloorMate (with scrubbing brushes that operates more like a carpet cleaner) - but its performance fails to rise to the capabilities of the cleaners that bracket it. The SpinWave uses two circular cleaning pads that spin as they scrub-up cleaning fluid that is pumped directly onto the floor from a reservoir - so in terms of functionality, it is really more like a Swiffer WetJet with spinning pads. But the motorized cleaning “action” doesn’t buy you any real additional bang for your buck. The pads attach by way of velcro and any deviation from mounting them perfectly will cause the mop to move a little erratically - so the twin circular pad idea doesn’t impress me at all. And even though the motorized pads create a cleaning action against the floor, the weight of the mop itself isn’t really sufficient to promote thorough cleaning - I felt like I needed to press down on the mop to get things really clean and the motor driving the cleaning pads wasn’t strong enough to let me do that. To be clear here, for a motorized mop, my expectation was that the added mechanics should demonstrate a clear advantage while reducing effort - I found that neither of these expectations was met. The mop did charge quickly and the charge held well while I used the mop around the house - but, again, the motor was annoyingly weak so you would need a longer battery life to support endlessly mopping over the same areas repeatedly. BISSELL includes two sets of washable pads - one for heavy-duty cleaning and one for light-duty cleaning. I wasn’t able to identify any difference in their ability to clean floors. The cleaning liquid is doing a lot of the work for this mop by providing a solvent for the wheels to buff over (like using a wet sponge is always better than using a dry paper towel on a floor stain). Overall, the SpinWave is nifty but weak. A better motor and a much better pad design could have made a more usable mop - but as designed, the BISSELL can’t even improve on basic non-powered mops.

Powered wet mopping
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seeing my wife use a mop for years on our floors I thought the BISSELL - SpinWave Cordless Powered Mop would make the job so much easier for her. So once I had this unit assembled (you literally snap the handle to the main body, put on the cleaning pads and you are ready to go). You should plug the wireless unit in to charge which takes a few hours as the initial from the factory charge can vary. There are a series of three blue lights that provide a status of the battery charge. Two small containers of multi use cleaner are provided with the unit, mix with water and place in the reservoir on the front of the unit. Once charged you are ready to clean. You can dispense solution on the floor from the unit and it provides a small chime to indicate it was dispensed. My wife used the unit and came to the conclusion that very little solution was needed to clean the floor. Now some of her observations were that if you like the pad cleaner (starts with S ends in R) you will be a fan of this BISSELL SpinWave Cordless Powered Mop. However as I found out, she likes to rinse the mop during use to actually clean the floor and remove dirt. She said that wet pad cleaning solutions are kinda just like spreading around the grime (did not know this prior to getting this unit - my bad). I mentioned to her, this is more of a commentary on her way of cleaning, this unit does what it was designed to do and does it well. She also mentioned that with the tank full of solution it really adds to the weight of this cordless unit. She also said unlike a mop it was difficult to get into tight places (like around a toilet) when using a traditional mop. My observations were the linoleum floor looked clean and shiny after using this unit and our hardwood floors looked fantastic (however be careful to sweep or vacuum up any dirt prior, as the circular motion of the pads could scratch hardwoods if dirt or small rocks get caught up in the pads). However she mentioned that the linoleum floor was a little sticky from the solution (I also thought so), I suspect it would be less so when using less of it. The pads are washable and can be put in a washing machine. A rubber tray is provided so you can place the unit (standing up) on the tray with wet pads. Overall I thought this was a nice addition to our fleet of cleaning devices. Not sure how much she is going to use it though. However I plan on repurposing it to clean my elderly mom’s laminate floors. I suspect it will do a wonderful job. Pros: - Wireless, built in 18v rechargeable battery. - cleaning solution provided (use a little at a time) - awesome if you already like wet mopping pad cleaning solutions. Cons: - heavier than expected with solution in the tank (don’t fill to the top) - old fashioned rinse and repeat mop fans might not care for it. - solution leaves a sticky residue (at least on linoleum floors). - hard to use in tight place (like near toilets) however it is very maneuverable.
