Purchased in 2016 and used a handful of times (maybe 7 or 8?) over the past 4.5 years. Performance was ok, but not on the same level as a full-sized carpet cleaner. Pulled it out of the closet for a pet accident this week and found that water no longer sprayed into the cleaning chamber or at the wand. Contacted Bissell customer service and was told that the unit was out of warranty and offered a 20% discount on a new Bissell product (note that this unit is now $180, rather than the $110 it cost originally).

Works well for a quick cleanup when your pet has an accident.

It cleans up the mess but... take a black/uv light and shine at the carpet pitch dark and you'll see that it spreads the per urine into a ring

The brush/spot remover has proven reasonably effective at taking out pet spots (better on newer spots than older). The hose attachment cleans fairly well, but leaves a lot of water behind.

Of course it stopped working right after the warren ty was no longer any good so not happy about that..probably wouldn’t purchase again

The reason I wanted a SpotBot was to have a set-it-and-forget-it way of cleaning up my puppy's urine spots while we potty train him. The automated cleaning does a poor job of cleaning up the spot, often leaving round, yellowish stains right where the original yellowish spots existed. For a cleaner touting itself as a Pet cleaner, it leaves a lot to be desired. For a good clean, I either have to use the manual hose attachment, or move to my Big Green Clean Machine to take care of the mess.

This handheld spot cleaner is good for cleaning up those immediate spills on the carpet, but it lacks in cleaning power when it comes to old stains.

great size, not heavy, its loud like a vacuum i used this on couch-good, i have a big fluffy couch and i had some difficulty but i got it clean :) then i figured lets try the carpet stains it made me a lil worried at first bc it turn a greyish color (i have a mixed brown capet) but once it dried it looks clean im happy the only think is if your looking to clean a large area of carpets def not the machine you want. im debating on keeping for the small projects or just buying a big one that does all? oh ya and i used the spotbot on the carpet did good job but left excess water i just used suction to suck it up i didnt notice the water only until i touched it so it wasnt horrible.

It is good carpet clean but for small places. Because the cable is too short, it is impossible use this cleaner being standing up...

Bought it for pet stains and did not even come close, would return but I threw away the box.

Bought to clean up when the dogs had accidents on the carpets. While it appeared to work, once you get a black light on the areas, the Spotbot just spread the urine around. We can tell because there is a circle of illumination the size of the spotbot........ it does not have a sufficient suction to get it all up.

Works well on spots, but sometimes need to run more than once.

I used this product once and it broke after one use.

Disappointed. Was looking for something compact to clean pet messes. It’s small but kinda heavy and made the spots on my carpet worse, very disappointed and returned. Will just use my bulky steam cleaner cause at least it gets the job done.

The spotbot worked very well until it stopped spraying cleaner out of the hose and near the spin brush. I have yet to contact bissell but these spotbots are known to break and the pump to fail. Disappointed.

On top it is a miracle worker, underneath it creates a nightmare for you to discover later.

It was designed to apply a cleaning solution. Then scrub and vacuum up the solution with the urine. It worked correctly one time and that was it. I returned it and the 2nd one behaved just like the first one. It is made to make cleaning up behind pets easy. The device needs to be able to pump the cleaning solution every time not just once.
