I have 3 indoor cats and this system is easy to use. The only downside is, when you shut it off, have it on a towel ready because whatever is left in the openings will drain on the floor.

Defective and impossible to return
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this today- spent almost two hours cleaning my furniture only to realize that the hose for the attachment was faulty and all of the dirty water was just leaking out onto my new carpet! So unbelievably frustrating that it was defective right out of the box. Even more frustrating that although I had it delivered, Best Buy wants me to somehow transport it to a store to return it! This thing is remarkably heavy so have no idea how to make that happen. Don’t buy this if you ever want to use the attachment, or if like me you don’t have a car and will have no way to return it. Very disappointed in both Bissell and best buy, will be purchasing a new carpet cleaner elsewhere that has a reasonable return policy.

It will make clean carpets a bit cleaner and dirty carpets less dirty. But for the real stains that you're probably most concerned with you'll need something more heavy duty or a professional service.
