cleans ok but its got some problems

Despite the dirty water tank looking much larger than the soapy water tank, they actually have the same capacity. I find myself emptying the dirty water every ~30 ft or so of cleaning because the fill line on the dirty water tank is actually only ~25% of the tank's actual size. Also annoying is a little green piece of plastic that falls off every time you take the dirty water tank out. I also don't think the bottom of the cleaner is heavy enough to wring the fluids out of the carpet effectively, so the carpet is wetter than it should be.

Only for spots, not the whole room

I didn't want the handheld "spot cleaners" because they all require getting on the ground and scrubbing yourself. I returned it after I was finished. If you want to own a carpet shampooer then either go for the cheaper handheld for occasional stains, or the larger upright models for the entire carpet.
