I might add a faulty one but mine stopped working after a couple of months. I think it's something going on inside with the internal mechanism of the motor

This vacuum lacks the suction power, and the cover doesn't close all the way. Replaced it for a new on from the manufacture, and it had the same problem.

I was pretty disappointed with it as it charged for a whole day and it just did not hold a charge long at all. It could not vacuum one vehicle that was hardly dirty since the vehicle was brand new.

Does not stay charged. May have to return to store

I bought this vac based on the name, Black & Decker, and most of the reviews were positive. After using the vac for less than 3wks, it quit picking up. It has put some of the dirt on the opposite side of the vac and you don't have any access to that side. I was going to take it back, since it was expensive, but after reading my purchase info, I see that it was only returnable in 15 days. Poor warranty for something $70. It now sits in the box. Do not buy this product.

I give it a 2 because its filter design leaks it may as well not have one all the dirt damages the motor and comes out the exhaust bad design

Great when we first got it. Lost suction because the dirt compartment kept popping open. Battery died quickly.

its suction depends upon the dust canister lock mechanism. its lock gets worn out with 100 uses only. so, in middle of cleaning, dust canister loosens up and it can fall.. making a mess

I bought this to replace a dust buster that passed away and I wanted a lighter one that would work great in the car and around the house. This is lighter weight, has strong power, feels balanced in the hand and during use. It has a super long, pull out nose suction nozzle that fits in slim paces between car seats and easily reaches floors without straining to work. I use it daily ! The extended nose makes it easy to reach the floor without bending. I have two gerbils, so I do a daily run with the hand vacuum around their cage and the floor. I clean the entire unit every 2 or 3 uses. I take it apart, empty the dry trash and occasionally wash the filter and set it on an air vent to dry. I want to buy one extra washable filter one while this model is popular. All those features make it a hand vac a person can fall in love with. I have never loved a small vac as much as I do this one. Don't let it get by you !!! So easy and versatile and hope you will love it, too. PS If you are short, the floor is so easy to reach with the nozzle extended. Spot cleaning becomes so easy and not heavy or difficult. Equally great with the car interior, the spot cleaning around the house and mess that pets make. Save your back, don't work so hard and try this dust buster. It is a great value and you might fall in love with it, too.

The vacuum looked good and the on line reviews of some say it did a good job When using it around the house it did not have too much power & it ran out of power too fast

Not at all satisfied with this vacuum cleaner. Knowing the brand name, got.it but it hardly last 10min.

We bought this to use on our boat. The suction is terrible and it is small. If you want this for a large spill, it will take forever. Not recommended.

We opened the box and plugged it in to charge overnight. In the middle of the night it turned itself on and would not turn off! It became very hot and we had to unscrew the casing to unplug the battery. It burned my husbands hand! Called black and decker customer service and they issued a replacement. I was hesitant to try a new one considering our first one almost blew up. It has been a handy tool but still wary about its electronic parts...

Hi, this was the top rated handheld vaccuum. I used it 3 times and the battery completely died. I tried to bring back to to the store but due to the Pandemic, I was unable to. This is not even one year old but I am now stuck with this becasue the store informed me that i cannot return due to how long its been since the purchase date of 12/23/19. This was a gift for April and and epic failure. please help.

I wish it had better suction. The size is good and it can get into hard to reach places.

Short battery life. Not very powerful cleaning. Overall, unimpressed.

I just use it for big chunks of stuff. But tiny bits of cracker, it won't work

Connector on handle for plug stopped connecting.....couldn't plug in. Since we did not keep box, we called B&D and they are sending a replacement. At any rate, very disappointing given that this was NOT an inexpensive item.

Worked great at first. Now wont hold a charge for more than a couple minutes. Do not recommend

I would not recommend this item. I did read the reviews before I purchased the item and I was still disappointed. I purchased this handbag to get up a powdered deodorant on my steps/carpet. It did not suction up majority of it. Very disappointed. I've been trying to return this item ever since to exchange it for a much more powerful dust buster.
