I feel the 4k transfer was bad. Very grainy in some scenes, yet smooth and crisp with great HDR in other scenes. Don’t get me wrong this is an amazing movie! Dolby Atmos mix is what makes this movie worth buying in 4k.

Intense movie that reenacts a tragic misstep in the US war on terror. When things go wrong and Mr. Murphy rears his ugly head, you have to be able to adapt. Ridley Scoot directs this tragic re-telling of the Blackhawk mission and shows a glimpse of the sacrifice countless soldiers make for us and our protection. Great movie that looks into the heart of combat in all of its brutality.

I’ve seen this movie countless times. It’s got great actors playing great men in a battle that rivals the Alamo. I bought this dvd in 4K UHD as I bought a new 86” 4K tv and was amazed how good it looked in that format. I can’t wait to get my Atmos system hooked up to watch it again.

One of the very best war films. Imagine the opening 20 minutes of Saving Private Ryan sustained for full length. A movie that vividly shows how disconnect between D.C. politicians and our fighting military can yield chaotic results. It also underscores the sacrifices made by these men and women for our liberties. Expert rendering of Bowden's book. It's actually better.

I was so happy to find this in 4K. This is part of history we should never forget. The price was very reasonable. Best Buy movie collection is great. If you can't find it in store, usually can find on the website.

A jaw dropper, in 4K Film junkies won’t mind the grain. However, casual viewers may notice it more so than if it were on other formats, but the clarity, sound, and color sohould more than make up for it. A must own for any war movie enthusiast, cinephile, or really anyone who consumes movies as media.

The movie was fair. I liked it was based on a true story I just think there was something lacking.

This movie has been around for a while now. I own it in DVD and Blu-ray. The story is based on a real story which originally was reflected in a book that I had read when it first came out. I purchased the 4K version and enjoyed the movie’s improved clarity and audio.

Excellent, realistic movie. It is intense at times and well worth your time. It shows the tough circumstances our military faces, the sometimes lack of support they get from the politicians, just how imprecise / iffy 'intelligence' can be sometimes, and the very real human side/relationships that present in extreme conditions. Watch it!

Action packed, a must get for any war fan. The movie is amazing and the 4k quality is great as well. A nice transfer from the blu ray, video and audio are superb. A must get for any fan.

Caught this one in the theater and felt immediately like it earned its place among flicks like PLATOON & APOCALYPSE NOW. (Hey, maybe that's cinema blasphemy, but I didn't say it was BETTER, did I?) Sound design & story structure keep a tight pace in this thrilling & dark piece about the darkness of war. Great to find the blu-ray for the the right price!

Ridley Scott has such a wide catalog of great films, I often forget about this one. The recent 4K release inspired me to pick this up and watch it again and man am I glad I did! Picture and sound quality are reference material and the film itself is quite good. Highly recommended.

This movie was an exceptional DVD, an exceptional blu and now it gets no better than this 4K. One of the best 4K discs from a movie made in the aughts, now packed with all the supplements from previous releases....Get it for the A/V presentation alone if nothing else.

It’s Black Hawk Down on 4K, how much more can you ask for? Lol, no for real, this is a favorite of mine in terms of the war movie genre and was very happy to see it get a 4K release and was not disappointed. Add to that the audio mix, boom, a great viewing experience.

Black Hawk Down has always felt like one of the more underrated war films out there. It's no Saving Private Ryan, but there's still a lot here to enjoy. It's intense, gritty and extremely violent. Although it takes a while to pick up, its second and third acts are just pure chaos.

This is such a good movie very well directed I upgraded from the dvd version to 4k as it was such a good Black Friday deal I couldn’t pass up. I must say the picture quality is stunning in comparison also came with digital version as well as blue Ray disk.

A great movie that has never looked this good before. The picture, audio, and visuals are amazing. The blacks are super clear allowing you to see everything that is happening in this great movie.

Just amazing. The picture quality is outstanding. The dolby atmos track is ever-present. The helicopters sounds like they are flying over my head. They did a wonderful job with this up grade.
