Overall excellent movie full of action and real life reenactment

This movie proves once again that Ridley Scott is one of the best directors anywhere. Filled with action and drama. Not for the faint of heart. Lots of realistic combat.

It's not the best war movie, but Black Hawk Down was probably the first significant success at showcasing modern warfare in cinema. For that, it deserves the buy.

It was a tragedy with American soldiers to combat Somalie rebels under an incompetent commander. They suffered big losses that could be avoided.
