Great 4k transfer! Movie has never looked better. Very comprehensive package... Included lots of extras and both 4k and Blu-ray discs. Highly recommended war film.

The 4k version of this movie is great. I've always loved the bluray, but the 4k is amazing. Highly recommended if you like the movie.

I am Shootergamerguy and yes I have played many shooter videogames and watched many military movies. I am posotively sure that you have read some of my reviews, and if you havent then my experience with playing those games and watching these movies is the only reason why I write these reviews. Black Hawk Down is a great movie that features a compeling true story about 18 or 19 U.S. Rangers and Delta Force soldiers lost their lives in the battle of Mogadishu or "Black Hawk Down". This movie is definetly one of my favorites that I have watched over and over again. I would reccomend this movie to you because of the good action and acting involved in this beloved film. Film School in a Box in that this 3 disc version has a massive amount of background information, and many commentaries that provide film students with critical perspective on how or why decisions were made in the production of this film. Notable for the historical documentary information on Disc 3 that, if you are an aspiring filmmaker, allows you to see both the research and historical perspectives that influenced Ridley Scott as a Director. Scott's commentaries, on all his films, are always artistically detailed and inspiring, although sometimes lacking in storytelling originality.

Great 4K upgrade for sure! I have the old Blu-ray and I was taken back by how well this transfer looks. The image is more full and details and textures stand out way more. The film grain is good and with older films like this it is expected so if you want a crispy look boost your soap opera effects up. In general really worth the upgrade if you are a fan and if you are new this is the best way to enjoy the film is that 4K release.

This is the best movie i have seen in a long time. There are a lot of great moments, with great visuals, great sound, and absolutely great story. It is 2 and a half hours and i wish it could be longer. It makes it a millions times a better if you have surround sound because you would be a able to hear bullets and rockets fly by you and you will feel like you are in the movie. I bet you a million bucks you will love it, and if you don't something is wrong with you (JK). Buy it, trust me.

As always this movie will look amazing on Blu-Ray. I believe this is a movie that will not let you down, it's a great movie about the United States Military History. This movie had a wide variety of known actors and so, the film had a great cast. The cinematography and action was superb and Black Hawk Down was one of the best Military movies I have ever seen. Go out and pick up yourself a copy.

Excellent film (One of Ridley's very best). The grain of this 4k scan is so fine that you can easily see the difference between the physical disc and the very beat streamers (MA).

This was a must own for me with my system. The story behind this movie alway interested me and to see it put together like this with a incredible director just makes it perfect. This movie is watched over and over again with now end in sight. I reccomend this movie to anyone who loves a good story and likes war movies.
