i have always been a big fan of david bowie!! he had a lot of talent and gave the world wonderful music while he was here, this album was a great gift to all of us, i thought this was a beautiful way to leave this planet!! nice job dave.

Fantastic album throughout! Upbeat and somber at the same time with many references to the past and what was eventually going to happen. One of the best from one of the best.

I got this album for my love of Mr. Bowie when shortly after, he was gone. He still impresses and this was a good album to end things on. If you are a Bowie fan, I would recommend it.

Not sure what I expected, maybe some departure from his old style. Reminded me of Miles Davis when he changed from classical style of jazz to the fusion jazz. I was at Materey Jazz Festival when he did and got booed off the stange.

This album should be in ANY Bowie collection. Moi because he died, but because this was is a work of absolute art. It's hard to listen to sometimes, but it's poetry at its finest.

One of the best CD's released in the last year and a must for any Bowie fan. A true masterpiece that will stand alongside any other Bowie recording. A goodbye from the Starman.

I usually follow a "3 listen" rule but since its my own rule I can break it for this last effort ftom Bowie. With the possible exception of the last two cuts this is a dreary dirge-like bore. Two stars for sentimental reasons.

Great album. So sad to lose himy. One of the all time greats. An excellent farewell. Certainly not up to the standards of his early work, but still great in its own right.

I am trying to charge a portable phone charger . so I need this cable to do so. charger maybe to old . so far not working but I do have other ones to check.????

Actually I saw the video Black Star before I knew it would be Bowies last Album. This is an excellent production & a great example & conclusion to David Bowie's amazing musical genius. You will listen over & over.

We get our final album released on David Bowies last birthday then 2 days later he passes away...He left us with a beautiful haunting masterpiece.

This is quite a good piece of work, exploring depth and genres of music. A dark, moody final album that will stand as one of David Bowie's best!

After listening to this CD I realized how much his music was a part of a lot of different parts of my life. I'm glad he was able to give us all something more to listen to before his passing.

Gone too soon. Blackstar is evidence that David Bowie was still very close to his peak in terms of writing and performing. Solid 5 star rating.

Bowie has been on the edge for years.But to care so much about his fans that he makes a CD just before passing away,is the ultimate in dedication.

what can you say about a mans personal message of goodbye. Deep, thoughtful , Personal Goodbye.. one of his best. during s hard time in his life.

I can't stop playing it over and over again especially since he passed away it makes me sad to think about it but it's a great farewell

Worth a listen even if you are not a lifelong Bowie fan. How can an artist look death in the face and laugh? Make an album to release right after your death. Yeah that's what this is.

I've always been a fan of Bowie and this one is worth buying for fans. Not a "commercial" album, but a great album for Bowie fans.
