Batteries included are high quality AA batteries. Not sure you can get some rechargeable ones and just use them. I'm going to order a couple more single cam ad i need them to cover blind spots. They are pretty great fot the price. Mounting bracket was super easy to use. I purchased other options with a housing for cam. Power cord option works great but sold separately. I would recommend to others.

Blink cameras good but must pay subscription

Battery life has been fantastic and App shows ambient temperature and allows customization of motion settings for each camera connected. The only complaint is how Blink added a subscription charge which was one of the reasons I chose that brand. Now I have older cameras that record for free and newer ones that require a subscription. I get the business model to make money but didn’t see that one coming.

Good system

Night vision isn't the best but it is manageable. Nice being able to save as much video as I want on a MicroSD card vs paying for cloud storage.

Decent for alerting but limited

I would not use these cameras for nothing more then this or to take “blink” in on an area that you are monitoring. They work well for this purpose. Very poor night vision. Audio is very limited to communicate back and forward on them. Battery powered and they will last a long time on lithium batteries.
