This kit comes with everything you need to get personal home surveillance. Just link with your internet and your off to the races. I picked up the monthly subscription so I can renew past videos, but it is unnecessary if the cameras are only going to be live. I recommend picking up the subscription with the cameras though; it’s free for a month.

solid cameras with great features

Occasionally a camera loses connection with base station but I think its probably because of the distance between that camera and the base station

Not Reliable - Cameras Go Off Line Regularly
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The cameras are not reliable. You will go months with no video or saved clips. They work for a bit, but they end up “offline”, and not functional - no video, no clips, nothing. Installed by Geek Squad, I’ve had them out to “fix” the issue several times. After about an hour of trouble shooting, they are always able to get the cameras back. But now the Warrenty is over, and visits will cost $$$; equivalent to a new system. I took a chance on Best Buy cameras because I had store credit to use. Lesson learned, rewards aren’t always worth it. The app can’t show me any video, but will certainly mock me with ads for additional care as at a discount…
