Seems like all systems need ability to save recording should be default for all recorders.

I normally recommend this over the ring Camera system. However, apparently I am grandfathered into an all plan that allows 7 days of storage for free, unless you save it to your phone however I've heard from new buyers that they no longer offer that and that now you have to pay for a premium package.
