After hours of support doing everything possible they basically told me it was my internet connection causing the issue. even though I could access old video fine through my internet and the doorbell live streamed fine. I could not get it to work again and have abandoned it.

It is supposed to work without a subscription. Couldn’t get it to work without a subscription or linking to Amazon. I do not have an Amazon account and no desire to start one. This shouldn’t be this difficult.

I am sorry to hear your having issues setting up your Blink device. You can set up Blink cameras and use standard features like motion alerts, live view, and two-way audio without an Amazon account. Without a subscription, you can use the Sync Module 2 with a USB drive to store clips locally (USB drive sold separately). To set up a Blink Sync Module 2 without an Amazon account, download the Blink app, create a Blink account, add the Sync Module through the app, and connect it to your Wi-Fi network.
