It is supposed to work without a subscription. Couldn’t get it to work without a subscription or linking to Amazon. I do not have an Amazon account and no desire to start one. This shouldn’t be this difficult.

I am sorry to hear your having issues setting up your Blink device. You can set up Blink cameras and use standard features like motion alerts, live view, and two-way audio without an Amazon account. Without a subscription, you can use the Sync Module 2 with a USB drive to store clips locally (USB drive sold separately). To set up a Blink Sync Module 2 without an Amazon account, download the Blink app, create a Blink account, add the Sync Module through the app, and connect it to your Wi-Fi network. ||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Plano location needs racial equality training, went there to return model because it was defective got to the counter and a young white lady told me yesterday was the last day to return it! I’m like well shouldn’t you look at my receipt first? She then went and grabbed another gentleman from a register and he look at the receipt and did his best to resolve the issue my complaint with him is when he called the manager to explain he decided to omit the fact that the last day was yesterday! Which was concerning to me because a educated decision should me made with all facts and not just what you feel you want to provide. Now the manager Natalie, came resolved the issue in less than 3 seconds congrats to her . But where she failed was I asked for both of the previous people name and she lied and said she couldn’t provide that even though she understood I wanted it to file a corporate complaint. Which shows that she wanted to protect them from me speaking out against the actions they took. Sad part is I watched the same lady I spoke with accept returns from 3 people who out of their mouth stated they purchased their items 2 and 3 months ago but didn’t get the spill I got. I was not looking for anything free because I had already ordered another module and was there to pick up from the store since I would not have to wait until Thursday for it to be shipped to my home. In closing with the racial climate we are living in today, it seems that a business would have all they employees to treat all cusp and patriots of the same the same . Would hope this be addressed and I get a call to have my issues addressed
