You can plug it in directly to your routers’ USB port to power the module; it is REALLY small. Or, if you want it hidden away so it cannot be tampered with you can plug into any power outlet. Consider the subscription plan if you want cloud backup of recordings to view anywhere IF you do not want to be home to view the recorded motion detection recordings. Easy install. Be aware: IF you have unstable internet connection or very low bandwidth you may find that this device (and your cameras) can temporarily lose connection.

Really enjoy having separate zones in my house and being able to arm each zone independently. Only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is you have to have an individual module for each zone. I was hoping that 1 module would work for several zones but that is not the case.

This one went back as I didn't know the package I purchased had one in it. With this device, you do not have to pay the fee because you can add a USB to store your recordings. No membership required, love it.
