Misleading Description About Local Storage Support

Although the camera quality is good, I was surprised and disappointed to learn that the Sync Module included does not support local storage. As a result, I am forced to purchase a Blink subscription, which I do not want.
The product description and advertisement on the site clearly state that local storage is supported. However, after chatting with tech support, I was informed that an additional piece of hardware (Sync Module 2) is required to store recordings locally. This important requirement was not clearly disclosed at the time of purchase.
Had this been clearly mentioned in the product description, I would not have bought this product.

Your frustration is completely understandable—discovering after purchase that you need additional hardware to access an advertised feature is not the experience we want you to have.
You're absolutely right that this is a critical detail that should have been clearly disclosed in the product description. The Blink Outdoor 2K+ cameras do require the Sync Module 2 (sold separately) to enable local storage via USB drive, while the included Sync Module Core only supports cloud storage through a Blink subscription. This distinction should have been prominently featured in the product information to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
I want to acknowledge that this represents a gap in our product communication, and your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve how we present this information to future customers. The expectation that "local storage supported" means it's included with the purchase is entirely reasonable.

Easy installation since I’ve installed similar cameras of the same brand before but price is a bit strain to my liking, overall great camera quality

Had connectivity issues. Doesn’t work great with 5G network. After speaking to customer I’ve had to return them.
Subscription plan is great. Only charges one subscription fee for multiple locations.

It's worth noting that Blink cameras operate on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only and are not compatible with 5 GHz networks, so if your router is set to broadcast only on 5 GHz, the cameras will have difficulty connecting. To resolve this, ensure your router has a 2.4 GHz band enabled and connect your Blink devices to that network specifically — many routers allow you to create separate network names (SSIDs) for each band to make this easier. Very easy to set up, and the app is great! Conmecting each camrra together while records from
