Camera system said registered to another account. Blink support charged me $100 before they would help do anything. They also only save 2 hours of footage unless you pay 10 per month or 3 dollars per camera. The support also is only good for 1 month They said I have to return the cameras to Best Buy and get a new one ? I am going to tell Best Buy to keep it I spent 4 hours on the phone and still doesn’t work

Wifi is not strong enough for this product to work on my porch

I’ve had this and the doorbell cam with synch module and spent several hundred on both. The service at Best Buy was great, but this is honestly a terrible product when thinking of anything except video quality. My other review was for the rest of the system when I said it was great but that was less than a week in. Their customer service is subpar and you won’t resolve any issues more than likely. I use a N AIMrsh system which supports everything even the automated door lock that is separate of blink and a first gen model of that product. Only one user can have an account so if you have a partner they’ll have to share, and if you let them share you can’t both watch a clip or even live video at same time. The cameras other than doorbell routinely drop signal and it may be 10 seconds or 2 hours. My gf and I both have communicated with the support department and the give excuses like “weak signal”, but when my door lock works and so does my outdoor grill and everything else in the home and kids gone during the day there is zero reason for the product to not function properly. Do not buy. Spend more money and buy anything else. Most brands sponsored by Amazon are good quality . I wish I could get a refund and spend my money on something that would function like most other systems. I wouldn’t buy this again.

Bought for my father as i already own a few of these. Works as expected.

The blink system is ok. I had mine set and armed while my entire patio was built, 6 or 7 workers walking back and forth with equipment in front of 2 of the cameras and not one notification from the system. But if a cloud passes the sun and causes a shadow i get notified!! Its probably better for letting you know when your kids are sneaking around the house at night or to check on your pets when your not home. The service fee isnt to bad, 100 a year or 10 a month for recording and storage for all cameras. But the cameras have awesome picture quality and there is a 2way speaker. So you can hear and speak to who ever is near.

Not as good as I thought they would be. They are good starter cameras.
