I have Lorex camera system and is great & always easy to call and talk to a tech to help with any questions you have. I was wanting wireless system but FYI I was also told wire is better for a security system. Work great in night mode and is up to speed as well highly recommend Lorex

Battery Life Is Not Good

I honestly wish I got something else, and now considering either wiring or going solar. I have one of these pointing at my driveway. The batteries are supposed to be lasting for 2 years. Instead, mine last for 2 weeks (seriously). I don't have much going on at my driveway for it to waste so much of the batteries on, but I think cold weather here in Michigan has a big factory too. Trying to find an efficient way to wire it now. The other cameras are ok as long as there is no activity in those areas usually (but then whats the point of the cameras...)

The night vision is awful. I got a notification of someone pulling in my drive 30 minutes later. It really made me wonder what all it didnt see. It will send a notification of something that happened the day before for some reason. Just, please dont get this camera unless its going inside. Get the Google Nest cameras.
