The blink system works good. But not perfect. It has flaws that might frustrate you. It will sometimes not detect motion when someone is right in front of it. The batteries claim to last a year. yeah right. Only if your camera is never detecting things.

Very satisfied, user friendly and very good picture quality

This is a great product. Very easy set up. The app is easy to use to see any recent activity or you can pop into a live view if you want. The needed batteries usually cost around $16 for a 12 pack. You need 2 batteries per camera. The battery life can depend on where you place the cameras and how much activity there will be there. My front porch camera probably gets around 4 months of use before I need to change the batteries. While the one at the side of my house lasts way longer before I need to change the batteries.

These cameras are terrible. Good quality during the day but night time quality sucks. 9/10 I cant see the live view because it just loads and loads and says “system is busy.” I have called technical support but they are no help. They tell me to close all the apps on my phone, log out of the app, reset my wifi, and nothing really works. I would not recommend this low quality chinese piece of garbage.

Set up pretty easy. Must use Blink app. Would be nice if system could be accessed via a desktop/laptop, but this appears only to be possible with an android phone emulator program, and that possibility seems doubtful. I never found a site for getting the necessary set up that looked trustworthy. No help from Amazon here. That said, system worked well for me. I was attempting to track an indoor cat who escaped outdoors and went into daytime hiding. We were able to confirm her appearance multiple times a night using the cameras, which I was able to set low to the ground on bricks or boxes near dishes with small amounts of food and near a gate between side and back yard. I was able to learn her pattern of visiting (as well as 2 other night-visiting cats) and successfully captured her with a live trap.

This product gets the job done and the hardware is very convenient to install, being that it runs on AAA batteries and does not require wired installation. With that being said, it may also serve as an inconvenience as you will eventually need to replace batteries. However, I did see that there are solar panel attachments available for purchase separately, which may help alleviate this issue. My main aversion for this product is the application that is used to view the cameras. The Blink software is extremely lackluster and needs a serious update. It is not best when it comes to user experience. To be specific, when you access the app and see your list of devices, you are not able to view your cameras in real time. In other words, you must first click on the screen for the camera you wish to view, and then wait until it loads on the screen. You would not think of that as a user experience inconvenience, until the app lags in the process of loading your camera views. Blink/Amazon seriously needs to improve their application's user experience, while being more mindful about accessibility. Overall, this product gets the job done for me and I have no problem with the hardware. But there is much room for some serious upgrades and improvements in terms of Blink's software. Side note, be mindful that you will also need to purchase Blink's subscription in order to save your recordings.

Great camera but....volume level does not work properly, it does not adjust, so i only give 4 stars, good pictures all around even at night.

This would be better if we didn't have to pay for live recording but that's not Best Buy's fault. The product is working pretty well

These are the first camera's i've used, so i dont have much to base the score on. Overall, easy set up. App lets you adjust quite a bit with the camera.

These cameras are awesome I got a new set because one of my older ones finally gave out.

This was not my first option, but the price was also not something in my budget, but after comparing prices of other cameras, it quickly became a budget for me. This 3rd Gen Blink outdoor camera did the job, but I did not like that it wouldn't capture as much as I thought it would - hence, the name "Blink". Overall, I would recommend this product for purchase as it helped gave us some comfort of having security outside and inside the home.

I am more than satisfied with with the product all the way around five star rateing. Very ease to use. Customer service is very professional.if your looking to protection i would go with team BLINK.

All my Blink Security Cameras work awesome. Great quality awesome to go back and review anything that happened when your away from home. You can monitor live or recorded videos and even talk to people when observing live vidoes.

Cameras were easy to place and set up. Great security for seeing who's outside before going to the door. We also used them while on vacation. I accessed them via my phone. This gave my wife a great sense of comfort knowing she can drop in on the house at any time and see that everything is okay.

We got this for my wife mother for a gift we have had it for 2yrs and they are the best camera I have seen on the market to hidden fees or any type of extra money a month just buy and set up and you can see what going on outside your house

Picture quality is good. Overall fair camera in related families. Would be better if more mounting options.

Easy to set up, but wish the resolution was a little higher and the motion detection was a bit more accurate.

So easy to install, both physically outside and with the app. Technology is not my strength, but Blink walked me through the process and my cameras were up and running!

I own three cameras and they are great for my need ! Its not great at night but, they work well and its price efficient! Keep them home security is necessary!
