I hate being bombarded to write a review. Ok I HATE writing reviews.

Cameras good quality pictures. Very sensitive. On a windy day kept getting blink notifications. Animals set off notifications. Geek squad installed them. Excellent queek squad employee!! Excellent service.

Bad image quality. Lack of functionality. Motion alerts are a joke. Save your money for something better.

After several weeks of troubleshooting a loss of XLT feed to my Echo Show 8, I followed Blink's CS advice and returned my Show 8 to Amazon under their warranty. I received the replacement but the problem remained. I contacted Blink and after another two weeks of restarts, resets, etc, I was finally informed by Blink that they are experiencing problems with linking to Amazon Show devices. They did provide a work-a-round until they get the problem fixed but until that happens, buyers should be aware this product is unreliable when used with Amazon screened devices.

Blink system does not send an alert to your iPhone when motion is detected, nor automatically download the video into the list of videos. You have to hold your finger on screen and swipe down to get recorded videos to download into the list (similar to how you do emails).

Can't get devices to work out of the box. Only instructions are to download the blink app and sign up for an account. That's it. Nothing else. When I call the support number, nobody seems to know what they're doing. Tried walking me through basic set up 20 different times over 3 different calls only to tell me that it must be broken and they'll send me a new one. It will take 3 business days. That's all fine, but I drove many miles to purchase this as my home was vandalized last night and I wanted some immediate peace of mind. I could have gotten a system cheaper online had I wanted to wait days for delivery. The many people I talked to at blink were simply beyond inept. Don't buy this product if you are the type of person who may need technical support, you won't get any from blink. This should be a simple "plug and play" device. It is far from it.

Good camera for the price but the night vision is not clear for distance

The cameras are decent, but the software is lacking. You can’t see how much battery life is left, and a couple of times I've had cameras go out because I can’t tell how much juice is left in the batteries. Live view - Worthless. It takes almost 30 seconds for the camera module to sync up for the live view IF it works at all. I can never check an alert for motion at my driveway. It will record a video, but will only live view 1 out of 15 times. And the camera is about 10 feet from where the module is mounted.

Hopefully you don't get robbed these things motion detection is terrible and lets hope they can rob you in the ridiculous 90 second limit the vidoes have. Because they won't restart recording till it uploads that 90 seconds, leaving 20sec-2min gaps in video.

Wish I could have left a zero star review. Bllink Customer Support fails at executing their promises. Had an issue with registration on a Friday. Website says to submit a form via email and expct an answer in two WORKING days. Tech rep on the phone says it will be *three* working days.says it will be three days. It is now FIVE working days (plus two weekend days) since submission with no resolution. Called to escalate without satisfaction. Just be prepared for them to take their sweet time regardless of how important it is to you. I would STRONGLY suggest investing in a different camera system; Wyze is much better from personal experience; I've also heard good things about Nest. Honestly if I had the money to scrap these and replace them, I wouldn't hesitate.

I bought my first Blink cameras x 3 in early 2020 and really liked them. The main advantage was that a subscription plan was not required in order to for motion recording. At some point, Blink changed this policy and models after 4/15/20 had no motion recoding nor video recording without a paid subscription. So, like a normal consumer, when I add another 8 cameras I'm making the reasonable assumption that the newer outdoor cameras are basically the same as the XT2s (they cost the same, look nearly identical, same size, housing etc.). Difference is though, they are very different products without motion/video recording being included without a subscription. So I believe Blink hoodwinked a lot of us who actually really liked their product. Plus, you get a 30 day free subscription so by the time you figure out what you didn't actually buy, it's definitely too late to return. Blink customer support was responded to my inquiry by stating they made this information available and it was my job to know this and I'm here to tell you that any reasonable buyer would not have known this. Also, companies don't necessarily make a lot of effort to announce negative product information unless directed by a court to do so and so i'm not really buying that they made a good faith effort to announce to the rest of us that a policy had been changed when it would definitely have negatively affected their sales. Also, don't believe all the reviews because negative reviews are harder less likely to be accepted thus there's a selection bias.

Webcams work well for my purpose. It is very sensitive and can pick up the slightest movement or sound.

The cameras are absolutely wonderful and fit the bill for what we were looking for perfectly! Having the Geek Squad install them was icing on the cake...they did a great job!

If you put 7 on the sensivity, it wont catch if someone is on the driveway so you have no choice but to put 10 on the sensivity. The problem is it catches every movement of the grass and you battery will get busted immediately. I dont recommend this camera. Bought it couple weeks ago

Turns off at times and takes too much time to come back on though it's not too pick up on birds but it picks up on every little thing not close to what I see from reviews poor☹️and prices not to good ☹️

Good camera for the first two years now one camera makes the batteries get way too hot

I’ve had these up approximately 2 weeks and I’m enjoying the extra layer of security I’m receiving by having these up.. I can see all movement, both inside and out!

the gentleman who installed it was very good at explaining everything the cameras pickup a clear picture

That 2 year battery life will be closer to 3 months in high traffic area. Had this at front door and the in and out of house by a fam of 5 and this didn’t last. Ended up taking it down.
