    Could be better at picking up movement

    The cameras are okay. The picture is clear but the only issue I have is it takes forever to pick up movement so the person has already went through and you can only see half of the shot. Makes you think, what’s the point?

      Hello, KarlS. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on the Blink Outdoor 4-camera system. I am sorry to hear about the issue you are experiencing with the device. Your Blink camera captures motion based on either passive infrared (PIR) or pixel difference analysis (PDA). Your camera's motion sensitivity setting adjusts how much input it takes to send you a notification. Low sensitivity is less responsive, so a larger amount of heat or motion is needed to cause a notification. The highest setting may cause alerts from blowing leaves or even shadows.

      High sensitivity (values of 6–9) means less motion over a shorter period of time will create a notification.
      Low sensitivity (values of 1–4) means more movement over a longer period of time will create a notification. I recommend testing the sensitivity for each camera. Tap "More (...)" on your camera's thumbnail and select "Device Settings." Select "Motion Settings." On "Motion Sensitivity," move the slider two or three increments to the right for a higher setting. Tap "Save" to save this setting and walk out of the frame of view of this camera. From the main screen of the Blink app, set your system to "Armed" to enable motion detection. Test the camera's sensitivity by introducing movement. If the sensitivity is unsuccessful, adjust the slider further, save, and try again. If you have adjusted the sensitivity to your liking, proceed to test with a larger moving object. Walk in front of the camera and check if the setting provides the desired motion alert.     I bought this product and it work great in the first 20 days and then I started to have issues with cameras going offline, it has been very annoying.

    These work.. but when an alert goes off its usually to late or app wont load to look and see why it went off.. its better than nothing i just hooe the latency gets fxed and it has issues with alexa

    I love these cameras however I wish the resolution was better quality. I'm not able to zoom in enough to read a license plate on cars passing by in my cul-de-sac.

    Likely bring these back, they are ok for short distance but their inability to send a picture 50 feet is terrible. If you get out of line of sight even with Xfinity 5G the best in the local area nothing but buffering notifications that cannot be seen.

    The cameras work amazing but it the battery it said it will last two years it barely lasted a week I have to replace the batteries all the time

    These cameras worked great during the 30 day free period. They stopped worked as soon as I signed up for the Amazon plus plan with unlimted storage. Calls to Blink and Amazon did not have positive results.

    Sad product. Will not easily set up. So many emails and passwords to remember and submit to Blink and Amazon. You must have a subscription or this is worthless. I would not recommend this product.

    The cameras aren’t bad but there is a delay with notifications. I found that it’s missed a few motions and isn’t completely accurate. If you don’t have Amazon Prime look for another camera. I didn’t see anywhere that you need an Amazon membership after the free trial. The system doesn’t record (live view only) after the free trial. Pretty underhanded, kind of like the NFL selling a game to Peacock and the only way to watch is to sign up. System ok but Blink/Amazon not honest with this one.

    Had it for a few months. Draining battery pretty fast. Havent paid subscription for a month and it still dont record or capture videos when armed with a usb chip in it. Only doorbell works. Thinking of returning it and finding another brand.

I have some recommendations to try and help solve the issue. I recommend going into the Blink app and clicking on the sync module; from there, select Local Storage, and then under storage options, select local clip storage and ensure all devices are listed for local clip storage. Also, ensure you are using a Type-A USB drive in a supported format (exFAT recommended), with storage capacity between 1 GB and 256 GB and at least 375 MB of free space.     Would be nice if the sync module would connect to my "very good signal" wifi. Continuously turns off the wifi and won't connect, but my indoor mini 2 works without any issues at all.
