They were easy to install and hook everything up, and set it up on our cell phones. So now we can receive alerts on anything happening when we are not there.

The cameras are very easy to set up on your phone. I arm mine at night and if anything is amiss, I can see what happened. A nice "security blanket" for very little money.

The cameras that have the attached flood lights are awesome. The flood lights are great. Also, the two-way audio is really nice and they pick up audio fairly well. And for ultra wide angle, the 1080p looks fairly decent. But there are a couple of flaws that set them back a little bit. One being setting motion areas so the camera doesn't record the street, or other areas you don't want recorded such as maybe like a flag in the wind or whatever, yet the cameras still records areas you set to not record. Another one being if you don't have the camera angled perfectly in the area you have it. It won't pick up certain movements very well. And lastly, when it picks up movement it doesn't continue to record as long as the movement is going. it starts recording when it first sees movement but there could still be movement in the camera and after a max of 60 seconds, it'll stop recording. If it would keep recording until all motion has completely stopped and a few seconds after these cameras would be so much better.

There is a delay in getting notifications of motion detected, often. An hour later sometimes. That does not feel very "secure" for a "security camera"

The Blink Outdoor 4 is designed with a battery life of up to two years based on default settings, so faster-than-expected drain on some cameras may be related to device settings, use, or environmental factors. We recommend opening the Blink app and reviewing the motion sensitivity and clip length settings for the affected cameras, as higher sensitivity and longer clip recordings can contribute to increased battery drain. Additionally, please ensure all of your cameras are connected to a strong Wi-Fi signal through your Sync Module and that the Blink Home Monitor app is up to date, as connectivity issues between your cameras and the Sync Module can also impact battery performance and notification delivery. Regarding the notification delays, we understand how important timely alerts are for your peace of mind.
