The advertised battery life is suspect. After only 2 weeks have already replaced batteries in one camera and now a second one is showing signs of battery failure. Just be prepared to replace the batteries that come with camera WAYYYY sooner than the advertised 2 year battery life

Shortening motion clips saves space, while lowering video quality can help save battery life if you don’t need crystal-clear footage. I already had 2 Blink cameras (previous generation, Blink 3), and needed to add another so I got the new version. I now get daily notifications that say "A person is in your backyard" which is incredibly creepy, fortunately there hasn't actually been any people in my backyard. We have a very private backyard and I leave my dog out there while I am at work. I don't know why it thinks my 6-month-old all black German Shepherd puppy is a person sometimes but I can't turn off the feature. The video and picture quality on the Blink 4 does not seem any better than the Blink 3 cameras, so I wish I had just purchased a Blink 3 for cheaper instead.

For some reason it gives notifications for two cams at once like what are we being flanked??

Decent Picture, Bad Design

It just doesn't have the features I need. Motion zones don't work that great. You can only record 60 seconds max of video when motion is detected. Then, the camera is in time-out mode for a specified number of seconds. That kind of defeats the purpose if someone if trying to break in and you want continuous recording. Bad design. I'll be returning this to the store.

Sucks that I could have out my 8 yr old grandson tickets to the Grand Prix race but I had to buy security for the peace of my puppy that this Jerk is mean to when he illegally enters my apartment. What a waste of human and money
