We purchased 7 cameras from Best Buy and had them installed as we are unable to climb a ladder to do this. Within two days, one of them went offline, so we paid someone to climb the ladder and replace the batteries. Within a week, two of them went offline again. Called Blink and they suggested buying a wi-if extender. We purchased that and had it installed and within a week, two of the cameras are again offline.

Worked on and off during trial subscription period. Now it won't record to the usb device inserted into the sync module. Pretty worthless overall.

They work pretty good most of the time but not all of the time

These new updated cameras are worse than the previous version. The cameras only record when it wants to record. Didn't even detect the from people that are less than 10 feet away. Worst buy in security cameras and decision for going with blink brand. I'm currently in the process of returning and this garbage and looking for something more reliable.

One of the Cameras batteries is dead within a week.

Good image quality but not good for battery it dies quick

I made a huge mistake by purchasing this cameras! In less than a month - two weeks to be exact, one camera went offline, I went through everything the app ask you to do in cases like this, including taking batteries off! There is when I noticed batteries were steamy hot! But they advertise these batteries will last 2 years and they are supposed to take every climate. They lied!

Absolute trash if you dont pay for a subscription the quality drops significantly and they claim the batteries last for a yr i had mine for less then 4 months and they died and now wont respond or turn on and since i dont pay 200 a yr for a membership i cant even exchange them

Worked for two weeks then stopped sending clips. Live feed became a hassle to access. I have a dedicated sync module for each camera to eliminate distance problems, and a very strong WiFi signal to each sync module. I’ve done the reset song and dance three times and the system still doesn’t perform. I’m done.

I had used the 3rd generation blink outdoor camera at my home for the past year, and I like a lot of the features, so I looked forward to trying the 4th generation outdoor camera and see the improvements. The first improvement right out the bat is the wider angle of 30 degrees and the camera is clear as ever. Sound quality also picks up every sound. If you’re new to the Blink camera system, they’re very easy to setup and operate. The camera comes with a Sync Module that the camera runs through. The module can be placed anywhere as long as your Wi-Fi signal is strong and within a decent range of the camera. The camera also comes with a 30 day trial of using cloud storage, which is very efficient. After the 30 day trial, you can pay for the cloud storage at $3 a month, or you can plug in a portable USB drive and backup the images. There’s really no wrong way to choose how to store the images. The camera has good night time vision using infrared and it will give a notification on your phone if there’s movement and even a picture on the notification. The blink 4th generation is a big step up from the 3rd generation and i recommend it.

These cameras were at a good price, but when it came to simply connecting them.....i couldn't get the Sync Module to connect to my Wi-Fi. Tried it for about a month. Blink Technical Support couldn't help either. Returned the cameras a week ago today, good riddance!!!

I had this camera for about a month and a half. Then returned it. There is alot of camera lag which is something that im not a big fan of.

I don’t like to change batteries. Wired is better.

Batteries died after about one week. Only get these cameras if you plan on plugging them in for power... Disappointed.

I was told by Best Buy that these would work without Internet and a Subscription!!!!!! WRONG !!!!! WTF !!!

Horrible product. Night vision is terrible and the option to black out areas doesn’t work. Still picks up every car that drives by killing the battery at an amazing speed. I’ve had it less than a month and had to change the batteries twice. Battery life + these are useless at night.

Installed cameras 1/2/24. Today is 1/20/24 and I will be replacing batteries in 3 cameras for the second time. This will be the 3rd time replacing them since 1/2/24 for the doorbell. Save your money and move on.

Not working as good as i thought! Not capturing pictures or movements often. Delayed

Replaced this item twice, taking them in again today. For some reason these cameras don’t like to be outside at all, they go offline in a couple days
