If given an option between ring and blink, I would say ring is a better option. I did not feel blink to be very user friendly. My parents are old and they were easily able to use ring but blink is way complicated for them to understand.

Blink cameras and mounts

The cameras fall off the mounting system. I have one out of five that has stayed on mount. So I have spent more money for different mounts and hope that they will work otherwise what good will the cameras be if they don’t stay on mount. I would still recommend cameras but buy a different mounting system.

The speaker is not great but the display and motion sensor work great. You have to purchase a subscription to get instant movement notifications feature.
