Perfect Security Cameras

The app is easy to use along with the Alexa app being paired to it. Can go through different weather conditions and still in great condition. The batteries do need to be changed kind of consistently considering how long you have the motion detection sensor on (every 60s is fine) and you MUST buy lithium or alkaline batteries. Otherwise I own 10 cameras ( the maximum for each module ).

The only thing I wish was better is how quickly Blink alerts us. It does not alert us about an event until well after the event has happened, generally up to a few minutes afterward. If it was a critical event, it would be too late to do anything about it.

For simple viewing, get blink. For more advanced features such as spotlight, get something else. Also, a paid cloud account is necessary. Kinda sucks.

There is a delay in getting notifications of motion detected, often. An hour later sometimes. That does not feel very "secure" for a "security camera"

The Blink Outdoor 4 is designed with a battery life of up to two years based on default settings, so faster-than-expected drain on some cameras may be related to device settings, use, or environmental factors. We recommend opening the Blink app and reviewing the motion sensitivity and clip length settings for the affected cameras, as higher sensitivity and longer clip recordings can contribute to increased battery drain. Additionally, please ensure all of your cameras are connected to a strong Wi-Fi signal through your Sync Module and that the Blink Home Monitor app is up to date, as connectivity issues between your cameras and the Sync Module can also impact battery performance and notification delivery. Regarding the notification delays, we understand how important timely alerts are for your peace of mind. Delayed notifications are often related to the Wi-Fi signal strength between your Sync Module and your router or network congestion — we recommend checking that your Sync Module is within a strong range of your router and that your cameras have a reliable connection to the Sync Module. The wider viewing angle and better resolution makes it a nice improvement over the previous generation of cameras by blink.
