But it is still very limited. For example, other cameras notify us & start recording far more quickly, some can even record continuously, and some have much better night vision. I can recommend these if your needs are minimal, fairly basic, and you have a limited budget, otherwise there are far better options.

This system has everything you need to make your property a bit more secure. If one camera isn't enough, there are other packages you can purchase if you are looking for a multi-camera system. Setting up the Blink Outdoor 4 is straightforward. Download the app, follow the instructions and you should be up and running if a few minutes. Once you get everything set up, you will want to decide where you want the camera and mount it. The kit comes with the hardware you need and the hardest part is figuring out where you want to put the camera. The overall quality of the image is good. At 1080P, you are not going to be getting super high resolution images, but that's part of the trade off having these cameras running off AA batteries. You will have to play with the app a bit to get the settings just the way you want. The settings will most certainly determine the battery life so pick what is right for you. The night time image quality was pretty decent and slightly better than the previous generation. For my needs, this system works great. The sync module has a USB port so you can plug in a flash drive and store clips locally which I think is a great feature. Overall, the Blink Outdoor 4 is a nice little system. If you are looking to get into home security, this camera system is a great place to start. You can stick with the single camera or add more to suit your needs. The app works great and I have been pleased thus far. Great experience!
