    The cameras have good resolution. They are slow to connect, long time to display playback, and the local storage solutions do not work after multiple attempts and follow the troubleshooting guide. Since the “free” cloud trial took me past the return date, I am unable to return them for not working as expected. Currently on my third call to technical support, don’t worry, it’s only a 30 plus minute wait for that. All in all, my 6 year old Arlo cams are back up because at least they work. Not recommended for purchase.

    So far, in 2 weeks, twice went offline. Customer service from Blink is poor and very slow. Look for a different product!!!

    They work as cameras for a maximum of like one minute. Then they don't work for at least 30 seconds. They simply don't record long enough to be a valuable security device.

    Cannot get this to connect our internet. Have messaged the blink company multiple times and keep getting the same message back to unplug our internet (which i have done several times). I cannot get them to support the item and will likely retun it. Horrible customer service from Blink.

    Bought this and regret it. Why monitor your property with Blink when Blink is the one robbing you willingly. The cameras were not very useful WITH a free trial of the service and they are useless after unless you pay $10.99+ per month for the features that you need (yet still aren’t great).

    We purchased 7 cameras from Best Buy and had them installed as we are unable to climb a ladder to do this. Within two days, one of them went offline, so we paid someone to climb the ladder and replace the batteries. Within a week, two of them went offline again. Called Blink and they suggested buying a wi-if extender. We purchased that and had it installed and within a week, two of the cameras are again offline.

    Worked on and off during trial subscription period. Now it won't record to the usb device inserted into the sync module. Pretty worthless overall.

    Not too great always having issue with the camara, the quality is bad you spent alot of money buying batteries

    These new updated cameras are worse than the previous version. The cameras only record when it wants to record. Didn't even detect the from people that are less than 10 feet away. Worst buy in security cameras and decision for going with blink brand. I'm currently in the process of returning and this garbage and looking for something more reliable.

    Drains batteries, even with IR off and sensitivity set low. Even bought the extended battery pack and it drains them in less than a month. Would not buy again.

    I had used the 3rd generation blink outdoor camera at my home for the past year, and I like a lot of the features, so I looked forward to trying the 4th generation outdoor camera and see the improvements. The first improvement right out the bat is the wider angle of 30 degrees and the camera is clear as ever. Sound quality also picks up every sound. If you’re new to the Blink camera system, they’re very easy to setup and operate. The camera comes with a Sync Module that the camera runs through. The module can be placed anywhere as long as your Wi-Fi signal is strong and within a decent range of the camera. The camera also comes with a 30 day trial of using cloud storage, which is very efficient. After the 30 day trial, you can pay for the cloud storage at $3 a month, or you can plug in a portable USB drive and backup the images. There’s really no wrong way to choose how to store the images. The camera has good night time vision using infrared and it will give a notification on your phone if there’s movement and even a picture on the notification. The blink 4th generation is a big step up from the 3rd generation and i recommend it.

    Had a few battery issues when it says the batteries last for 2 years. I'm my car i good roughly 7 months before having to replace them.

    I made a huge mistake by purchasing this cameras! In less than a month - two weeks to be exact, one camera went offline, I went through everything the app ask you to do in cases like this, including taking batteries off! There is when I noticed batteries were steamy hot! But they advertise these batteries will last 2 years and they are supposed to take every climate. They lied!
