    A lot of development to do

    Can’t tell the difference between a cat and person. After I delete events they reappear as new. I get notifications of lighting changes during the day but the video obviously skips through hours of time change and they’re spliced together like one video. Same issues this system had in 2021. This is the newer model and they’re still having the same issues. I wouldn’t pay this much, only got it because it was on sale

    So I read the reviews of this product and thought this would be a great camera for my front yard. Connecting and syncing the camera wasn't an issue. The problem arose when viewing my footage! I like viewing my camera on without having to constantly pressing the "CONTINUE" button, which pops up on screen every 5-10 seconds! If you don't press the button, the screen goes away! Try as I might, nothing in their HELP files could tell me how to keep my camera on more than seconds without tapping the screen!? I've sent "tickets" to ask for assistance into this matter only to be directed to their help files, which doesn't resolve the issue. If someone out there knows the answer, could you send me some love and tell me how to fix this? Unlike my "NEST" cameras, which monitors all my cameras on simultaneously and stays on without any input is a better system in my opinion.

    Works great when phone, hub and camera are all within 5 feet of each other. Spread to 20 feet and insert one double-pane window, and I get picture to my phone less than 50 % of the time. The few times it works, latency is a significant issue, even in my small (1500 sq ft) house. For something advertised for outdoor use, I expect much better.

      Hello JimmyDean! Thank you so much for your time and feedback on your experience with your new Blink Outdoor Camera. I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your network connection with your camera and Sync Module. The distance of your phone should not affect the outcome at all as that is only dependent on how good your service strength is on your phone to access the app. It is independent of the camera and module. Next the distance between your Sync Module and camera at 20 feet should not be affected the way you are mentioning as that only needs to be within range of each other. What can affect your lag or experience overall is how far your Sync Module is from your Wi-Fi router. You can try moving it next to or closer to your router and see if that improves your experience some. If this does not work, I would recommend contacting Blink Customer Support from the app or by calling 781.332.5465 to troubleshoot further.     They are very lightweight and easy to set up, I don’t like how you have to pay them a subscription though and the quality of the video isn’t the best. I do wish that I could have done more research about them and maybe I wouldn’t have gone with them.

    Vinyl siding owners beware!

    Camera and floodlights are fine. The "no-drill" vinyl siding bracket IS NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO HOLD THE WEIGHT!! Mine dropped about 12 feet! The instructions and on line guides, whether blink or generic YouTube are WRONG for this product. You need to drill through the siding to secure it sufficiently. "Measure twice"

    So I purchased a 3 pack set of cameras. They work okay during the day but night vision is horrible. And the motion detection does not send me notifications. And yes notifications are turned on. I definitely would not recommend these cameras.

    Battery Life

    Bought these not even a month ago and the orginal batteries only lasted around 2 and a half weeks, proceeded to buy duracell batteries almost 8 dollars for batteries just for the battery to be low again in 2 days worst thing i've ever bought battery life is horrible. Can't forget to add how it barely detects whenever im walking infront of the camera even with max sensitivity.

    These cameras are basically useless without a subscription. After buying thier product they won't give you even 1 day of storage. Don't be fooled like I was.

    What a crock. Even when you do a search, the hub which is needed diesnt even come up. Guess what people, that killer black friday dwal you got all excited about requires itbut does not mention it..
