The quality of the video footage, I expected to be better but other than that blink cameras done what I intended

After thorough research, I chose the Blink cameras. Which proved to be a fantastic investment, enhancing the safety of my home while being easy to use and maintain. Its a decision i will never regret. I can now enjoy my home with a newfound sense of security. No pun intended.

Works as it should right out of the box. It’s nice that it came with a mount and 90 degree adapter for mounting under the house eaves.

Seems like every week I’m having to reset something. It’ll stop sending notifications, stop recording to usb card, etc…. It’s always something I’ve got to fool with and customer service is spotty at best. They either give you the typical text book solution which may or may not work and then you might get someone who actually knows something.

What’s laughable is the stated long lasting lithium batteries up to 2 years. I have my setting on all 5 cameras at the recommended 4 - 5 second run time. Have already replaced batteries in two cameras. One after 2 weeks and the second after 4 months.

I am sorry to hear about the issue you are experiencing and would like to offer some suggestions to try and resolve the issue. Battery life of up to two years is expected under default settings. Battery life will vary depending on device settings, use, and environmental factors. I recommend checking the Wi-Fi signal strength to the camera. Weak signal strength between Blink devices and the Wi-Fi network can increase battery consumption. I highly recommend a warranty. They honor it!! I was able to upgrade and just placed them almost in the same places as the others. They capture even more visual of your area you have placed the cameras!!
