It is not easy to use without the subscription with cloud storage. The option to use a thumb drive is cumbersome with no thumbnails available and the file is not saved immediately to the drive.

If you notice your batteries are draining faster than you'd like, there are some handy tips to help stretch its life and troubleshoot any issues you might face: Try reducing the motion detection sensitivity to avoid those annoying false alarms. Setting up activity zones can help focus on key areas, steering clear of high-traffic spots. Shortening motion clips saves space, while lowering video quality can help save battery life if you don’t need crystal-clear footage. Also, cut down on Live View usage, especially in high resolutions, and make sure your camera and hub are in places with a strong WiFi signal for the best performance. Software was easy to download and walk you through all the steps. Con: My advanced wifi mesh system constantly disconnects the Blink system because Blink only connects to old 2.4 Ghz technology. Luckily, I had an older wifi extender that I was able to plug in place close enough to all the blink devices that worked. There might be a way to get my Asus mesh to work, but I may not be that smart or patient.

I love it. I feel much more secure now that I have the cameras system that I can see all angles of my property.
