Posted .Hello, JoelJ. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on the Blink Outdoor 4 Camera system. I am sorry to hear about the issue you are having with the device and have some recommendations to try and help. For better motion detection, try these steps to adjust sensitivity:
1. Tap More (...) on your camera's thumbnail and select Device Settings.
2. Select Motion Settings.
3. On Motion Sensitivity, move the slider two or three increments to the right for a higher numeric setting. Tap Save to save this setting and walk out of the frame of view of this camera.
4. From the main screen of the Blink app, set your system to Armed to enable Motion Detection.
5. Test the camera sensitivity by introducing movement.
6. If the sensitivity is not successful, increase the slider more, save, and try again.

Posted .Thank You for the feedback Kaycee, I am sorry you experienced slow loading time from your blink cameras. There are a few things that can improve this. To improve performance, you can try:
Moving the sync module closer to your cameras
Ensuring your WiFi router is centrally located
Checking your internet speed (minimum 2 Mbps upload recommended)
Reducing the number of devices on your network
Making sure your Blink app is updated to the latest version

My biggest turnoff right now is the SD card is right under the battery. So any outdoor activities in the heat good luck, you may or may not get ur videos. It over heats very fast. Not to mention its very out dated vs competition. You find this used online now almost brand new for half the price if not better.

I have had these up for a couple of weeks and added another camera and Blink doorbell. All worked great at first. Last night around 1AM I got a notification that the doorbell noted motion. I pulled up the app and tried live view on Blink doorbell and got nothing. All of the other cameras work fine. I changed the batteries and it worked until I hung it back up. Fast forward to a lot of time on internet and YouTube and it worked but I have no idea why. I have reset my modem/router and have discovered no benefit. It's past time to return and I have $600 invested in this nightmare. My advice is to keep shopping around as this system still didn't appear to be ideal. Don't take my word for it do you research and you'll see I am not alone. Now I'm $600 poorer and not feeling exactly safe by my decision to purchased this system.
