    An ok camera system, quality isn’t that great but if you need cameras will record and wireless then these will work for you.

    I wouldn’t recommend this camera. I purchased it on Nov 11, 2024 and have had to replace lithium batteries every two weeks. Blink customer service wasn’t much help and only sent replacement batteries which were the same brand that I was using. The battery life is supposed to be 2 years. I tried their other suggestions as far as moving the sync module closer and even relocated the camera thinking it may not be getting a good signal but batteries still drained within two weeks. I will be purchasing a different brand.

    The cameras aren’t bad but there is a delay with notifications. I found that it’s missed a few motions and isn’t completely accurate. If you don’t have Amazon Prime look for another camera. I didn’t see anywhere that you need an Amazon membership after the free trial. The system doesn’t record (live view only) after the free trial. Pretty underhanded, kind of like the NFL selling a game to Peacock and the only way to watch is to sign up. System ok but Blink/Amazon not honest with this one.

    These camera batteries do not last anywhere close to 2 years as advertised. Lucky to get 6 months

    I purchased this camera on sale at a good price, and I was disappointed it had a good Daytime view,Night time view was unreliable. I installed it outside for surveillance and at night the lens would fog up and I couldn’t see anything in the recordings. I had to return them..

    Two of the blink cameras keep falling offline. Each time I replace batteries and couple of days later they are back offline. ….Frustrating

      Hello MonicaR! I am so sorry to hear that you are experiencing these connection issues with 2 of your Blink Outdoor 4s. If the other cameras are not having these same issues, these 2 cameras may be too far from the Sync Module possibly causing the batteries to die too soon and dropping connection intermittently. You can check this by opening the Blink smartphone app and selecting the 3 dots icon in the image of the camera feed you would like to check. From there, go to Device Settings and then to General Settings. Here you can see your network connection as well as your connection to Sync Module. If either of these is not full and green, then you can try to move the Sync Module closer to the outlying cameras to improve connection. If this doesn't work or if you need them to be further away, there is a Sync Module XR that is sold separately that will allow for an extended range for 2 of your outdoor cameras. You can also troubleshoot further by contacting Blink Customer Support via the smartphone app through Chat or Phone. I do hope this resolves your connectivity issues and that you have an amazing day!     I wouldn't say their the best or worse they do the job but half the time mine do not send clips after paying for the subscription.

    Trigger and retrigger time is slow. The app doesnt allow you to sort clips by date and time. Very frustrating

    I bought the 2-pack outdoor 4 camera and was considering buying more to put around my house. Twenty days into owning and testing with the 30-day free trial of Blink’s cloud access one of the cameras stopped recording to the cloud. It would notify me of motion detection but the clip is not there to watch. I’m 5 days past my return window so I’m stuck with an intermittent recording of one camera.

    Bad It goes offline like 10 times daily LOL I have to disconnect and reconnect all day long I want to return it. There’s no bad connection it just goes off because it’s not good.

    Purchase this camera 6 months ago it doesn't work you have to go through all this rigmarole and jump through plenty of Hoops to download a new app because the firmware is not updated. Bought a package of four from another store online they work great right out of the box. Best Buy wanted to charge to load the firmware forget it it's sitting in the closet in a box too late to return it not a good idea the salesperson knew nothing about it I feel like I got stuck with it.

    One Camera constantly disconnects and the 2nd I haven’t used yet. I changed batteries twice, reset and works for a day then disconnects.

The internet speed requirements for these devices are only a minimum upload speed of 2Mbps, which is available in most home internet service providers. If yours does not reach this, it may affect your experience some. As for the options to store video clips, you have a cloud storage option included with the Blink subscription plan. You could also purchase a Sync Module XR separately that extends the range of your outdoor cameras and comes equipped with a microSD card slot that you could use to store videos on locally. If you are having trouble getting these features to work properly or if your internet speed is affecting your experience, I would advise reaching out to us directly at Blink Customer Support via the Contact Us link in the Help Menu of the Blink smartphone app. I do hope this helps get you the assistance you require and improves your experience.
