Now I cover front and back yard. Easy to set up and has great image videos. I originally planned to use local backup, but decided on cloud subscription because it is inexpensive.

I do wish nighttime pictures or motion films were a bit brighter. I do use these in conjunction with a monitored security system that does not provide cameras.

I figured it would be easier because I just wasn't sure what would be involved. The cameras work great. Motion detection is a little sensitive but once adjusted are no problem at all.

The advertised battery life is suspect. After only 2 weeks have already replaced batteries in one camera and now a second one is showing signs of battery failure. Just be prepared to replace the batteries that come with camera WAYYYY sooner than the advertised 2 year battery life

Setting up activity zones can help focus on key areas, steering clear of high-traffic spots. Shortening motion clips saves space, while lowering video quality can help save battery life if you don’t need crystal-clear footage. Also, cut down on Live View usage, especially in high resolutions, and make sure your camera and hub are in places with a strong WiFi signal for the best performance. Sucks that I could have out my 8 yr old grandson tickets to the Grand Prix race but I had to buy security for the peace of my puppy that this Jerk is mean to when he illegally enters my apartment.
