After ordering the screens we asked to be shown an outside camera with lights and to be run off battery, not to have to hard wired. We ended up purchasing the Blink Camera that day. We tried to get it up and running and several phone calls to Blink. Finally after weeks of blaming our internet carrier and 5 weeks later they. Admitted We had a bad camera, so they sent out a new camera and it took 6 days to get camera. On 12/26/23 we returns to Best Buy to get phone privacy screens, had them install them. We tried to locate guy we dealt with over camera. But he was not there so we we spoke with another guy on cameras for outside, set of 4 I believe but could be used inside also, so we purchased them, again nothing but issues and still have No Cameras operating. During this period of time whoever has hacked/and broke into our home enough. To get over $ 20,000 dollars of items from our home. We have more items to arrive Ties th 13th and either this takes care of all camera issues or they will getting returned . It has left us in a very serious way, no cameras yet working.

The flood light will not turn on anymore with motion detection or just by button. At first there was an issue when installing the camera to the light and it wouldn’t register the lights. Finally got it working and 2 weeks later lights won’t come on. If I was able to easily take it down with no ladder I would have removed it an returned it by now.

I am sorry to hear about the experience you are having with the device and have some recommendations to try and help. First, I recommend making sure the USB-C is firmly plugged in from the Floodlight into the Blink Outdoor 4 camera, ensuring a tight seal on all sides. Second, I recommend making sure the firmware is 13.34 (or higher). It is required that your Blink Outdoor 4 camera has a minimum of 13.34 (or higher) firmware version installed to properly function with the Blink Floodlight. To check your firmware version, tap the More settings icon at the bottom right of the thumbnail image on the home screen for your Blink Outdoor 4 camera connected to your Floodlight. Then select Device Settings > General Settings to view your firmware version. If your version is lower than 13.34, then make certain your camera remains online for at least the next 24 hours in order for your firmware to be updated to the current version by the Blink servers. I also recommend checking your app on your mobile device to ensure you are using the latest version. In order for your Blink Floodlight to function with your Outdoor 4 camera, you must first be using the most current version of the Blink app. I hope this information is helpful. If your Blink floodlight isn't working, check for a removed battery pull-tab, ensure firm micro-USB connections, update the Blink app and camera firmware (version 10.47+ for Blink Outdoor 4), and adjust the Daylight Sensitivity setting in the app's device settings. I have cheap ones from roku in my apt record outside my front window inside and records all the time good .

Battery runs out in 1 week, lag in video, poor app. On top of if when you call customer care they blame it on internet provider with illogical answers. Pls donate money to needy if you have more but don't buy any Blink products. Pathetic product and service. Rating is poor it should be Very Very poor.
