Somehow software defective vs blink outdoor cam

I comverted from a blink outdoor cam to the doorbell. I had almost 0 issues with the outdoor camera, it would only pickup stuff in the driveway/entrance. This doorbell at the exact spot the outdoor cam was picks up every car that drives by and more. Ive tried setting action zones, privacy zones, turning the sensitivity down to 0 nothing fixes it. At 0 sensitivity it even manages to record passing cars and miss people in the driveway! Dont want to go back to the camera which I had 0 issues with so Im going to have to gove the eufy doorbell a shot.

You will pay more money for the subscription than the actual device. I dont get notified of when someone rings the bell

I want to clarify that Blink and Ring are actually separate Amazon brands with different subscription services. The Blink Video Doorbell uses the Blink Subscription Plan, not Ring services. Blink offers a free tier that includes live view and two-way audio, while the optional Blink Subscription Plan (starting at $3/month or $30/year per device) adds cloud storage for video clips. This is significantly less expensive than many competitor services.
Regarding the notification issue when someone rings the bell – this is a problem that should definitely be resolved. Here are some troubleshooting steps:
Check notification settings: Open the Blink app > Settings > Notifications and ensure doorbell notifications are enabled
Check your phone's notification permissions: Make sure the Blink app has permission to send notifications in your phone's settings
Verify doorbell setup: Ensure the doorbell is properly connected to Wi-Fi and the Sync Module
Test the doorbell: Press the doorbell button and check if it triggers in the app
Restart the Sync Module: Unplug it for 10 seconds, then plug it back in

They say that if it is installed next to wall or door, there may be a sound, but that is unavoidable
