Im able to save videos for 60 days. Go into depth of sensitivity, length of video and zones for where you can focus for camera to focus.

Expect a 20 minute phone call with Blink customer service, after which you will be pleasantly surprised at how well your cameras and doorbell works!

The most frustrating aspect of this purchase was the lack of transparency regarding storage options. The product page mentions both local and cloud storage but fails to clearly state that local storage requires an additional Sync Module 2, which costs an extra $50 if purchased separately. This crucial detail was not mentioned upfront, leading me to believe I could use local storage without further investment. When I discovered this, I felt misled and forced to spend more money than anticipated. If you buy the camera and the Sync Module 2 together, it only costs $70. This pricing structure feels intentionally deceptive, and the lack of clear communication is unacceptable. Overall, my experience with the Blink camera has been disappointing. While the doorbell itself performs adequately, the misleading information about storage options and the unexpected expenses have left a sour taste. I cannot recommend this product to anyone looking for an affordable home security solution. The company needs to be more transparent about the true costs associated with using their cameras to avoid misleading customers and wasting their money.

I am sorry to hear about the issue you are having with the device and would like to offer some suggestions to help. Your Blink camera captures motion based on either passive infrared (PIR) or pixel difference analysis (PDA). Your camera's motion sensitivity setting adjusts how much input it takes to send you a notification. Low sensitivity is less responsive, so a larger amount of heat or motion is needed to cause a notification. The highest setting may cause alerts from blowing leaves or even shadows. Is the camera's motion detection setting on or off?
If this is off, your device will not detect motion, and motion notifications will not be sent to your mobile device.
On your camera's thumbnail, tap "More." This menu displays whether motion detection is on or off.
If motion detection is off, tap the motion detection button to turn it on.
You can also check your camera's Device Settings > Motion Settings to see if motion detection is turned on.
