Even offers motion sensor which adds to its value. Would have preferred on demand video without the requirement to purchase sync module.

It alerts me promptly whenever someone approaches my door when zi sm home or away. I didn’t think I would like a home monitoring system until I got this one ad a gift. Great for keeping an eye on pets and kids as well.

The Blink Video Doorbell does not seem to have as much viewing range as the Ring Doorbell did though.

Rings on my smartphone. Before this, I could often not hear the doorbell ring. In addition, I can see who is at my front door remotely.

There's no live view yet, but apparently with the plan you can get live view. The most you could record is 30 seconds. So if something happens after 30 seconds you won't catch it....

My room is downstairs, I can’t hear the normal door bell but I can hear my Alexa and my phone. I know when my packages are there so I don’t have my packages out all day. I can see a thief clearly in the camera. I’ve started to like it so much I got 9 more exterior cameras.

Posted .Hello Dave! Thanks so much for your review and feedback! One thing you can try to improve on your experience even further is, to make some subtle adjustments to your Motion Settings. You can find these by going into the Blink smartphone app, tapping the 3 dots in the lower right of your doorbell, tap Device Settings, and then tap Motion Settings. In this menu, you can increase or decrease the motion sensitivity and even adjust your motion zones directly. To resolve the issue with your camera going off every time a car drives by, you can gray out the blocks that are in the street. This way only the areas you want motion alerts from will trigger.
