BEWARE:BLINK DEFECTIVE- BEST BUY THIEVES

I should of asked why. They won't refund it and Blink won't honor the warranty. Brand new camera just purchased 30 days ago anf camera doesnt work. They blame internet provider but Inhave Verizon which.is very fast and my other security camers ( not blink) work fine. Stay away from Blink and don't purchase ftom Best Buy, they sell defective products and then you have no were to turn for refund.

I purchased this for a family member due to the lower cost compared to ring. It works ok. Notifications come through promptly but there is definitely a lag in the video quality. If you don’t want to spend a bunch of money and just need a simple way to see who’s at your door then it’s worth trying but it just doesn’t compre to the Ring.

We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience with the Blink Video Doorbell. You may have had trouble with the connection if your Wi-Fi log in credentials were incorrect. The signal strength from your router may be too weak at the doorbell's location as well. It could also be possible that the network you have at home is set to 5GHz instead of 2.4GHz (which Blink devices require). You may want to restart your router, or there might be interference from other devices causing connection issues in your space.

Couldn't get to work

Never could get my phone to connect to the Blink temporary WIFI, even after two phone calls to tech support. They suggested separating my router into two logical routers, one for 2.4 GHz and one for 4.8 GHz. Just seemed like a lot of pain. Took this unit back for a Ring which connected fine.
